Hmm ..let me think...during last year it was 10 or 14 big games / dlc released +/-. Only 2 were ok.
I sometimes tune in for the first couple of minutes to see if there is going to be anything useful or interesting shown, like Zac with the UI changes last week, then once normal service resumes I'm offski. I couldn't summon up the energy to bother this week as the server patch had gone live and there was next to no chance of any news about next steps only a week after Update 5. Let's face it the last "roadmap" took over 2 weeks to write and that was only "Many Improvements and Fixes" repeated 5 times
I don't think it's any surprise that FDev got Sally back just before Odyssey was "released"
Well take their Weekly Schedual this week. They could have added that they will be releasing fixes to Patch 5 this week at unspecified time - that would have given some players some reasurence. But nothing. I even asked Sally if there will be something coming this week - she replied she didn't have that information.
It also got many likes, so it's just not everyone can watch it at that specific time.
Says more about the information in streams not getting conveyed to the forums and having to dig through archives of streams to have any idea about what's going on. I didn't watch it live, most of them aren't even when I'm awake.
Preparations in advance to is a sign of good managment.
To my cynical mind, we had an intermission while Frontier were trying to sell us something (David Braben popped up as usual), and now that's done (until the console versions hit the fan, sorry marketplace), it's back to the usual post new era of communications.

I like many do not live in the UK timezone so yes over their night I viewed it and as all Youtubes I watch if it entertained me I give it a positive vote. If I find is not entertaining it gets a negative vote, No malice on every Youtube since the dawn of Youtube I always give a thumbs up or down on its entertainment value. Many of my friends work away each week and catch up on content Youtube each weekend they are home, same system as my above comments, we play many games Elite included and we watch many content Youtubes regarding Elite and other games and vote accordingly on quality of the stream/Youtube.
Well their roadmap that we were allegedly supposed to be really excited for never really committed to any further patches after patch 5. So... things could stay as they are for quite a while.

And of course I like the game, else I'd be a bit of a freak here for the fun of it, even though it is the interwebz. Reading back though, yeah I didn't share my opinion in my first post, but it was a forum tradition joke, and if I thought you were a prat looking for blatant attention and I didn't know you (for a long time), I would have probably been blunt, but I honestly didn't mean to antagonize you, and my apologies if I did in any case.
Either way, you know I'm here because I love the game and the current situation is pretty tragic. We can't make a headline out of the single set of numbers you have in the OP, but that doesn't stop it being a little alarming. And I wouldn't have known this had you not posted.
So while I probably look like a royal tool to those unfamiliar with this forum, you have known me long enough to know where I stand buddy, really. And sometimes when things suck, the best you can do is to laugh, and at the end of the day that was all I ever try to do with some threads here.
