So, it's been a while since I've bothered with reading anything about this trainwreck, how's it looking now in light of the bowel movement that FDev decided to serve up as a DLC?
Still as ridiculous and scammy as ever? Or any real progress?
I just saw a video where someone was saying, in all seriousness it sounded like, that it could release in 2025 or 2030!

Same old, same old.
CIG are working on new animations for eating hot dogs, implementing taxes, and according to one CIG dev, they have spent more time implementing a new location than other companies have spent developing AAA games. Still no second system which since 2016 is still waiting on magic tech to be implemented.
So, what i'm saying is....
Buy an Idris

Can you show us better volumetric clouds in a space game ? You know, games where those clouds need to be seen from under, inside and far away from space without bringing your computer to its knees ?
Got keybindings partly sorted, so at least managed to do my first proper controlled take off, hop to a random landing spot, land, go back to the space port and land again. I'm calling that a success even if baby's first steps.
Hopefully i can start exploring the game properly now, but SC is very encouraging at the moment. The vibe of interiors and space-legs is everything i had hoped Odyssey would have.

You will find numerous reviews like this one recently. You still can value the Agony_Aunt opinion here for sure, you just have to know that's the opinion of someone that doesn't play the game...

Expect, as you well know, my opinion is mainly based on the lack of ethics from CIG, whereas people like you are showing are not talking about that, they may even be unaware, they are only looking at what they see in game.
Its quite possible to look at a game, think its good, but refuse to give money to a company that has spent years lying to backers.
You've made it clear, you don't care about CIG's lies over the years. I'm sure many others don't care about that either.
Regarding the game itself, there are some things that CIG have delivered that i think are good, and some not so good.
I've seen it, but no real point trying myself, since my graphics card melts trying to play SC, same as with EDO, and freeflys in general have worse performance than at other times due to the servers being hammered, and as i've said many times, i'm not giving money to a company that lies through its backteeth. I'd rather give money to EA, and i never give money to EA.
This game looks ready for Steam reviews!
With all the overwhelmingly positive praise from ex-ED players it is surely ready for release!
