I don't buy anything using real money past what I used for the starter pack. The intent is entirely up to the individual. I bounty hunt and mine so I can build a small fleet of ships to play around with. Very little issues. Small and feasible goals.Hmm, can a game that is 5% complete have an intended way of playing? How do you know what it is?
I was just looking up which Star-Warsian ships they hadn't done yet, as a ship sale is clearly needed, and stumbled on this...
Apparently it's supposed to do this:
A long range exploration science vessel, which can be used via the fleet oversight mechanic from the giant modular science vessel.
If any of those things existed.
But for now it's just a silly cigar craft you can boop about in looking a bit Star-Warsian.

Took some damage on the way to a bounty target, not sure what happened but was still able to complete the mission and return home...
Half a million per week is still nothing to sneeze at.
And a couple of months ago they raked in around 13 million in a month from gullible idiots erm... i mean, ED refugees and whales.

Pretty balanced i would say, at least as far as a Yamiks review goes. I mean, he didn't take a mile high dump on it.

You do occasionally run into invisible stuff in debris/asteroid fields.
Its even more fun when you hit something invisible, explode, and end up in prison for 13 hours.

Probably that, wasn't near anything or the targets at the time, was still able to take down 2 ships and return back.

Armstrong had to exit the lander arxe-first onto what was basically a shelf and then drop off the end of the ladder because the last step down was too big to make wearing his suit. It was hardly the image of someone striding majestically down the landing ramp of a Cutter that I think some people have in mind
(Although the fact of the step being too big would be apt lol)

They do look good tho......
Well that was a bit boring, i was hoping for a roast.
Anyway, the whole video can be summed up as bad frame rates, well your PC is a last gen games consol, no really his GPU, the RX 580 is in the last gen consoles.
I would love to get him actually playing the game, he clearly doesn't.
With a few others, do some boarding, multicrew a Carrack or a Hammerhead and go high level bounty hunting.
Do some Xeno Thread.
Nine Tails Lockdown battles.
Maybe he can experience ranking up his bounty hunting level himself.
Do one or all of the several NPC protagonists gameplay story loops.
Rescue the boarded 890 Jump.
Find the Prison transport and hijack it.
Get a crime stat and experience real players chasing you while you try to clear it.
Hunt NPC bounties in caves.
Search wreckages for missing people.
Multicrew MOLE Mining, solo Prospector mining, ROC mining, Hand Mining.
Just fly around and explore the sights and sounds.
Or find @sovapid call him a sausage and watch what happens next.
I'm sure his softly softly aproach to this video has him at least thinking about delving a bit deeper in to the other side.

Yamiks doesn't have an RX 580 in his main PC, he has an RTX 2080Ti.
He streams it for a good few hours at least once per update. 7 hours on 23rd June was his last session.

Pffft, he probably didn't install it on a SSD then, or there is some other reason for all the negative stuff he says. It can't be the game at fault!
