At no point did I say that there is a fully fleshed out interior. The ship has a hatch/airlock on the outside, a stop gap is simply walking up to it, choosing the option to board the aforementioned vessel and then fade to black, reappearing in your pilots seat in the one part of the ship that has an interior, namely the cockpit. I can't believe that I've had to explain this in simple terms. A glass of water could have understood my post.
The blue circles and magic teleport must go.
Eh, details.
Honestly mate, people here are too obsessed with immersion.
If that was how it was handled, there'd be a forum crusade over another "shortcoming".
People here want "the perfect game."
That is never going to happen. I think I am enjoying this game as is for one key reason: I get that games have to cut things and make concessions.
And crucially, I no longer lose sleep over things that don't make sense.
Basically, you are fussing over something that really does not matter.
If there were a fancy cargo hatch animation, it would still just be a fade to black, but with extra steps.
It would "solve" nothing. (Not that there is anything that needs solving)
And thanks for reminding me, have not had a glass of the H2O for a few hours now.
