the hopeless isn't describing the optimism itself but rather the state of being optimistic in the action it's being used in.

if you think i'm pessimistic regarding the game, read some of the bug reporting threads. that's a Doom spiral and a half. Just witnessing players starting out so high after putting in the effort to help something they love ...and just over even a short amount of time be crushed into Doom once they realize how it all actually works and the scope of the situation.

it's a game in of itself, complete with grindy gameplay loops and progression and points and win/lose states, and like elite, it's a multiplayer backend but basically single player frontend. There's even strategies and forum howto's on how to play it.

Doomism can take a ticket next to Brussel Sprouts in the queue for the megacinerator of maximum eradication. The stench is about the same, especially when the odour leak from the bottom end.

Game's doing fine. Plenty still enjoying it. Meh!

With Horizons already being called "Legacy" by the CMs, it may be a subtle hint where all future content (assuming there to be more) will be bolted on to - so me & you are OK :ROFLMAO:

No, she found everything about life to be miserable...

ETA: For clarification - I have gone through life chuckling every day... We obviously didn't see the world the same - shame that the game is your equivalent of her...
