I agree to a great extent to what you say, although you need to remember that there are things members (like myself) have done in their early computer years which aren't going to be found during a Google search. To even reveal your real identity to any illegal activity (no matter how minor) would be suicidal given most of the software houses are still active. If you feel this is over the top, then hack a program to the point it deprives the original developer revenue and put your real name to it, and see the consequences.

The effect is much like telling folk you are in the SAS.

If you are telling folk that you are, then you (the proverbial you) probably aren't.

I'd be wary about making such a sweeping statement, I don't know if you had any involvement in the debates leading to the Dover Trial but it seems that there actually wasn't any bottom to that particular rabbit hole.

I find myself reading less and less threads on this forum because so many replies steer away from constructive comments in favour of short aminated clips or meaningless pictures of unrelated content. By all means upload an animated sequence if it’s something new, but not if it’s already been posted a thousand times before.

And yes, I know this post will most likely prompt more of the posts which I’m disliking, but that just goes to prove my point.
