State of the Game

it is not Odyssey what bother me, but that there is not much to play for me, what I deem to be fun - in NMS I have what I want, why would I want to return to ED? Nothing will change there, the game is written off by FDev already, there will be no significant progress and if, other games will have had even more of that and so there is no reason to ever return.
Hmmm, the Doom(TM) is strong with this one; Darth Pilotin?

Field of glory - microprose - 1993 - I played it 10 years later though - so I played waterloo and the other battles before it - you didn't expect that, did you?
Nice. I think I was in my Sid Meirs Colonization phase back then for strategy games at least and playing a lot of Age of Sail. Waterloo is still on my shelf and the civil war (U.S) games in the same style I'll play once in a while for S&G's. Big fan of the Total War Napolean (and the whole series tbh).

A few years ago, and far, far, too late in life, I came to the realization that everybody wants something different, but uses the same words to describe it and therein lies the rub.
Better late than never.
Sometimes though I really think some people are just under the impression they can shove their opinions on other people and judge them. Maybe that goes a bit further than gaming talk though.

Last but not least, we’re excited to share that work is now underway to bring social spaces to Megaships. This will allow us to position a base for on-foot services, such as Vista Genomics and Pioneer Supplies, anywhere in the galaxy.
Interesting. But at the same time opening McDonalds in the Amazonian basin for the mouthy explorer squad.

it's sid meier's civilization - I played that too - my partner has a collection of old games and old hardware - some are still working others aren't, but steam has a lot of those old games in store.

It should be inflammation of the local area, feel like burning and / or itchy.

What're your symptoms? Yeah that's probably it.

Depends where one places said thrush.

Yes indeed ladies and gentlemen, I was indeed making a naughty play on words, ummm because of science and stuff!

Mr Horse wins with the closest answer, to which the correct answer for "what does having a thrush feel like?" being:-

"a bit feathery..."
