True, never is not the correct word. Maybe they will have them at some future point in time, may a couple of years, or maybe never, but they are not focusing on them.

Has anyone seen today's NMS update? 
Oh, I understand that completely, but I have watched other videos that have had no editing and they look just fine. I am guessing it all depends on network traffic and what you are doing at the time, as well as SC issues in general, as it is in alpha still.Curated videos do not show the ugly bits because those are boring and do not make views. Those videos are made for views, to make money. Trust them at your peril. Or just buy an Idris

I have several thousand hours in Elite with 2 accounts. I guess I am just getting bored with it and I was hopeful that Odyssey would change that. However, seeing how they were not fixing the game already, only the most "popular" issues, I had zero confidence that Odyssey would be released as a complete update and that appears to be the case. They basically released an alpha version. They will patch it up, at least the most "popular" issues, but not sure that will be enough for me to open my wallet as everything I have seen about Odyssey is "meh".
A lot of ED players were hoping that the advent of space legs would also bring about ship interiors and were disappointed that that was not a feature of Odyssey.

Who knows if FD will eventually add ship interiors. I'm skeptical of anything FD says these days. I only trust in what i can see released. But i'm never going to put words in their mouth like you did.

After doing it a few times, I have to say Xeno Threat, when it works (a rather large caveat) is really well done.
Havent seen randoms working together like this in too many other games.
And as a PVE mission, it really is to much of a pain in the rear end to grief it. Did a couple times, but was having more fun actually doing the mission. Well, and earning my fancy armor.
