Hmmm, while Stantz will take some measurements, Venkman will want to perform some, um, unbiased testing. Personally, I think the testing will be much more

I confess I do like how Frontier drops a Dev update 30 minutes before they all pack up for the night.
Makes a lot of sense to let people exhaust themselves for the first 40-50 pages then the CM's can sift through the rubble in the morning.

Have they done a video then? I've been blissfully ignoring stuff by being on a roof (the shed roof!) for much of the day, apart from when dodging showers. Safe to say I am a little moist though now...
How big is the bloody roof if you can literally be on it?
Well it covers all my stuphz....
Nah it doesn't really, it's my folks shed, but it's 8 foot square with a ridge that can be straddled very comfortably. And I have enjoyed that part.
Jokes aside, it's going from flat wood with felt, to angled with corrugated fibre-tar board stuff (dunno what you're supposed to call that), but that all means putting a ridge thing over the top as a separate piece. So I was doing the first part of the ridge today whilst pater told me what I was doing wrong etc.! It's not at all quick working with the old fella!
I suppose technically it is a summerhouse as well, I just call it a shed as there is far less effort involved in speaking one syllable over three
Is it just me or is the mapping filters broken for anyone else also? Have the "unvisited systems" checked and still the route plotter send me to visited systems. I even start to think that visited systems are shown as unvisited in the galactic map.

The youtube stream was taken over by the Lemnis Gate launch stream, so ED was relegated to twitch.
I started watching on twitch and got an unwanted advert a few minutes into the video stream!
Allegedly, the twitch stream will be sent to youtube later.
There's no need to call me that kind of man!

I made a few comments on the Update 8 topic, admittedly most taking the mickey out of the 'gutted' consoliers who haven't been told since yesterday that the console release depends on the PC version actually performing...
Obviously it is rather delicious reading their ranting about additional content being added and them not having it... I don't ever recall the console crowd insisting that the console and PC releases have parity on titles that were going to be 'exclusive' on console for any length of time. Although it is even sweeter reading the ranting of the PS5 few... still unable to process the fact that Frotner have said, multiple times, that new generation consoles won't be getting native versions... (One has to appreciate the irony that I have ED on my PS4 and couldn't possibly imagine how dreadful Odyssey would end up looking trying to run at acceptable FPS on the old thing, particularly when comparing it to my PC version)
Having spent so long reading both lines mentioning performance, I guess that 8 isn't going to bring "significant improvements" at all, but we shall be able to do stuttery emotes at eachother as we appear to teleport small distances across the station etc. concourses!
Sorry, I'm irked that I had to BUY fuel for my FC today, the shame will weigh down my natural joyous demeanour for some time
