I haven't been making many credits lately, because I've been doing only on-foot missions and they don't pay very well in credits. It's mostly about the materials.

I hear you! That's why I pop out for quick mining session every so often

I do like an exploration stint too: just first dosco'd, mapped and first foot-falled everything in a little system I found.

BTW, completed the 500t crap for Selene Jean, need to get her 10 units of Painite and then slap her in the face.

Then I can beef up my armors.

You do know that she will only work on armour - failure to accommodate the diphthong may result in disappointment.

It's like having furry dice, go-faster stripes and a his and hers windscreen banner. Cops will give you a tug and fine you just because.

While I mostly want FDEV to fix the darn bugs in Odyssey, I will admit to being pleased about this in todays dev notes:

we are delighted to confirm Fleet Carrier Interiors will be coming to Odyssey in the coming months! You can expect more details on these very soon.

Well, that was wierd.

I lowered my landing gear to let autoland take over and promptly got a 10 second countdown stating "ship will be dismissed in x seconds". After which, the game froze. I logged back in and found nothing much had happened.

EDIT: I thought selling to different markets in the same system will count, turn out seems to be 1 distinct market PER system

Someone watching one of my videos some years ago commented "You don't boost through the slot??!!" I was like, "No, of course not. Why would I?" lol.

Almost the only reason for boosting out through a slot is you are carrying passengers or other dubious cargo and even then you don’t hit boost until you are in the slot and can see what’s out there. On the way in boost towards the slot and standby on heatsinks and silent running.

I've tried to be a racer. I've done a few Buckyball races even. Crashed my ship and everything.

Came in last or close to it each time
