As many of the self-professed 'explorers' I read posting on the forum have about as much imagination as the average rock...
Q.E.D.by what logic do you think raxxla is named raxxla and yet still not found?
Of course not.... Why, that would be unthinkable

and? how does that explain the idea that eddb would contain most of 'give me' systems/planets obviously named and leading to the logic that raxxla is also findable that way? there's no connection there. it's not funny / humorous as much as it is just wrong.
I did think there was something of the wet bandit about B Ender.
are cinnabuns a thing over there in uk land? is it talked about like some shameful drug you only admit to partaking in if other people have admitted as well - like it is over here?
I've never claimed that my argument was rational...and? how does that explain the idea that eddb would contain most of 'give me' systems/planets obviously named and leading to the logic that raxxla is also findable that way? there's no connection there. it's not funny / humorous as much as it is just wrong.
you claimed it was logical.I've never claimed that my argument was rational...
By "fun events" do you mean fishbowls full of keys?only at fun events (some even include the traditional headwear from the era of adam west)

oddly, out of all the events we've been to...none have involved bowls of keys.By "fun events" do you mean fishbowls full of keys?
Oh, you meant the Raxxla bit. Yes, that was me being logical, based on your statement to which I was replying.you claimed it was logical.
Overreaction is the new subtlety.
Urban legend realm then?oddly, out of all the events we've been to...none have involved bowls of keys.
I get the feeling that practice is either extinct or entirely misrepresented. It doesn't happen in real events (the whole leaving alone with a partner).
No, he didn't... read what he wrote again... the logic stool has been yours all along...you claimed it was logical.
yea... that would just be not only dangerous (in a large enough party where you'd think that would happen) ...but the logistics of everyone getting to their proper home later would be annoying... plus it's just kinda not the point when you goto a party like that. you go to watch. the whole key thing defeats the purpose. it just doesn't make sense. I think it might have happened here and there but it's mostly a hollywood type fabrication.Urban legend realm then?
Hollywood would NEVER lie like that. It would be shameful.yea... that would just be not only dangerous (in a large enough party where you'd think that would happen) ...but the logistics of everyone getting to their proper home later would be annoying... plus it's just kinda not the point when you goto a party like that. you go to watch. the whole key thing defeats the purpose. it just doesn't make sense. when you use "by that logic" you're making a logical statement you believe is based on the logic of another statement. It's that interpretation that was what was being responded to and refuted by me as not making any sense. Because the idea that eddb catalogs named systems at a higher total % than all systems in general and being usable as a resource for them ...has absolutely nothing to do with then finding raxxla in there. No, he didn't... read what he wrote again... the logic stool has been yours all along...
Logic is the explorer's imagination, isn't it?
Yes it does.when you use "by that logic" you're making a logical statement you believe is based on the logic of another statement. except raxxla as a named system or planet doesn't exist at all... so what would make raxxla be within eddb if eddb is more complete on named systems? which has already been established, raxxla is not.Yes it does.
