but, to be honest, an open letter would be a valid way to get an official answer from them, works already back in the days. But there is one problem, which players should be give their voices? On the consoles, it’s feels like there is nobody. For sure most are on a breake, like me, but many has left Elite due to this.
And I have seen enough game communities die. So i recognize the signs. But why listen... You know better, right? We'll see.

In the defence of the PC players, there still seems to be no sign of the fabled 'substantial' performance improvements which were promised on PC. Maybe once we have that we will get some console news....

For me this is one valid way. Because we didn’t get anything here at the moment.
We can still sit and wait for information. But like you said, the signs are clearly and far from the point to ignore, steam reviews shows it, the most and honest pc cmdrs mentioned it. But let get be happy which some emotes
oh, I forgot, mega ships interiors.a some questions here, was update 8 scheduled when? Last week right? Then this week? Oh no Next week, Hard to stay on sight, and this is what we (consoles and pc players fears) adding some thing which break the game and delay the progress for the improvements.

Oh and yes I did know, that they told in the stream that it could be change. But beside of it, this is one of the facts, why some consoleplayers are at the moment get in rage mode.
It's all about prioritization... Emotes would be on the bottom of a my devstack. But... maybe showing other players how much you like their new Arx-bought suit is really really important.

Yes, I’ve mentioned it early, from fully focused for improvements to minor things, the most important improvements, are delayed beyond update 8 and 9. This, is the point. Community : please bring the game in a stable way
Fdev: yes were heading for update 8 for essential bug fixing and improvements of the game.
in the meantime Fdev: hey we giving you some new content, the improvements aren’t that large in update 8 but update 9 and beyond are bringin some improvements. Ironic off.
Brutally honest, how it could be ignored by some of the cmdrs ? How much love I have for elite, to ignore some promised which are simply broken.

The stabilization should be top-priority. Even for the sake of the pc players. If you keep opening up new construction sites, you never gonna finish even one of them.
And we know this well from our "german Autobahn" where construction sites are to stay and driving with over 200km/h is less often possible than you wish for...
That's why i felt @Obsidian Ant 's last video so completely out-of-touch with reality. Proposing new features, when seemingly so many pc players still struggle and the whole console community is locked out without any ETA for any information about the perspective.

I'd like to think that's true mate but without any clue on what Fdev thinks is substantial bit hard to guage, links back to the communication thing. From my pov think their trying to make up for the dodgy launch so are throwing everything at it may explain the vague goal of "where we want it to be" leaves it open ended so they can throw some stuff at Edo see what the reception is, if a bit Luke warm throw some more stuff at it and so on. This also means they can drag it out indefinitely till they get the response they want, if donning some tinfoil attire I do believe that they have factored in the diminishing console base. If it was of concern they would already be doing something about it rather than "when we have the means to do so effectively". Hope to be proven wrong but don't think current direction will change any time soon even if @sallymorganmoore and co keep relaying what's been said on here. Right that's enough negativity for now will check back in a few months see if anything changed bar my ability to purchase a Pc lol
Honestly, OA and burr pit are at the moment not the best content creators to get honest opinion. No front to them, I love them both, but they didn’t show at the moment the dark side of the medals clearly.
My favorite is at the moment Yamikes, because he is brutally honest with EDO.
But even Yamiks circumvented the topic "consoles" completely, as far as I could see....

This kind of question really does lead me to beg (actually have it a lot)...IF players had those numbers, what then?
What would you all do with those numbers?
What's everyones "benchmark" for easing concerns for everyone?
Would you all look at them and go "Huh...yeh I guess they're ok" - then what happens?
Or "Nahhh, those are too low for me" - then what?
It just feels like it would be used as a big discussion point as part of a thread where players can bring more speculation of their own (much like this thread now).
I get that right now you just want SOMETHING (anything) and we'll keep looking to when we can do that.
It's about getting the game good, you know? If the game is good and working and exciting, a byproduct of that is more players will play.
