Okay, that's only ~17 hours per day, you scared me there for a bit.

17h per day is perfectly acceptable though ;-)

I normally work 16+ hours a day coding or writing, unless I'm renovating or whatever. I'm just directing my seated time in a different direction.

I think I mentioned earlier in the thread I would have written four novels this year if I wasn't in Odyssey. On the other hand I'm enjoying myself, and that's what life should be about. Made a load of new friends in game, helped a bunch of people get started, and had a blast with some streamers and others doing ground missions galore.

Synopsis of the video:

A man has done everything he could in a videogame and does not enjoy its new direction, so he decides to quit and lets his friends/fans know.

Synopsis of the thread:

(Almost) 40 pages of people at each other's throats, for reasons.

Got to love this!
But but how dare he are the cries !!!
Some like the sound of their own posts and obviously their own opinions are best .
I'm with you 100%

I'm not trying to judge or be critical, but I do always recommend to take occasional breaks, stretch a few limbs and work on hydration and nutrition during long gaming sessions.

What genre by the way?

Oh, I do. I think 15 minute carrier jumps exist for that reason. (I've been working from home since 2005, and I'm into cycling - on and off.)

Genre - Scifi (mostly) and some fantasy. Mostly humourous, apart from a couple of my later series.

Cute factiod: many of the stations in the game are named after scifi authors, probably from a wikipedia list or something. There are three minor planets or moons with my surname, but sadly no stations. And no, I'm not called Smith or Jones ;-)

No. Why would I buy an unfinished release?
I knew that....

but, as you were so vehement:
I care if I get delivered unfinished products after paying full price.
You really don't have a horse in the race, again, as the comment is a throw-away because you haven't bought the product at full price... Or should everyone be getting apoplectic over things they haven't bought?

Actually, never mind. Pointless post.

I did look at it interested, though, because it was said you could play it just in its mode, wouldn't need ships and such. So I hoped: "Alright, that might be nice. I could skip the crappy engineers and find something fresh without the idiotic powercreep."

Here we are now. With even more idiotic powercreep. Yipieeh.

Moral of the tale: Don't prebuy but way for sale.
