Graphics performance seems a bit improved with Release 8. I noticed approaching settlements is much improved without sudden stops lasting 10-15 seconds as files are loaded into the 4GB memory of my graphics card. Nice improvement.
I played Release 8 last night, doing 9 settlement power up/restore missions with looting. I discovered that instead of 400 ARX, I earned 1200 ARX last night. I guess that is the bug fixed in 8.01. Seems like a nice discount for some Midnight Black paint jobs in 4 weeks.

They announced that there is a triple ARX earning rate and limit for this week only. Back to 400 next week, I'm afraid.

Any ETA on when these shadows inside stations are gonna be fixed? Probably one of the more annoying aspects of Odyssey in my perspective, apparent on all shadow quality settings (video below).

How do buddy, just want to say the acknowledgement was not just for my benefit, there's a lot of negativity floating around the console "bases" at the moment. If peeps see posts being put with no apparent response it just re-enforces the feeling that no ones listening, just to clarify this ain't a dig mate. @sallymorganmoore just following up on my previous post with some more details.

I hadn't realised that the issue is now marked as fixed so I immediately asked someone more familiar with this problem to check. I gather that although windscreen frosting levels in Odyssey are now similar to the levels shown in the first image in that issue report (i.e. current Horizons levels), they're still nowhere near their original beauty from 2019 Horizons (as shown in the 3rd image).
In an ironic twist, given that the 2019 "before" image shown in that bug report actually won 3rd place in last night's #StellarScreamShot competition I can only assume that people like it and would prefer to have those levels of windcsreen frosting returned to the game!
For reference here's another example of how things used to look, taken from my own screenshots folder (this time in the SRV).

Odd, it hadn't been an issue, for me, until the 8.01 patch...
It's rather sporadic. I think I've seen it 2 or 3 times myself (only once recently).

I think I've been taken out of context I was just trying to highlight that the acknowledgment wouldn't just be beneficial for me, and also was saying without an acknowledgement it could reinforce the opinion that "no ones listening" not necessarily that's what is being thought that's all. Also acknowledged you didn't want a conversation I only pinged you once and with this message replied twice prior to today. Also "quoted" post from myself was to another poster I was just trying to express why even an acknowledgement would be beneficial for some people. I apologise if that how I've conveyed it as this was not my intention. Gonna run and hide now didn't want a response as said acnowledgement was enough don't get me in trouble lol
