appreciate the update - but how about you fix the performance issues 1st to make the game actually playable?
Sssshht, Apex ignorance is bliss.
- A plug for my issue where Restore missions don't tell you about Scavengers if you travel by Apex (ever) https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/43472 so you never get those extra rewards
So you want them to leave this kind of stuff in there while they take a few more months optimising the game? Great idea.appreciate the update - but how about you fix the performance issues 1st to make the game actually playable?
nope want to them to fix an uplayable game i paid £30 for - its not unoptomised - its broken - and its been live 6 monthsSo you want them to leave this kind of stuff in there while they take a few more months optimising the game? Great idea.
Fixing logic bugs is much much easier than fixing performance issues, and thanks to there being more than one programmer at FDev (and programmers with different disciplines), both can be done in parallel.appreciate the update - but how about you fix the performance issues 1st to make the game actually playable?
Minus some of the recent bugs, Odyssey is quite playable. Sure, 20-30fps isn't wonderful (and 8-15 is just horrid), but when everything freezes up, at least the AI is just as stuck as you are.nope want to them to fix an uplayable game i paid £30 for
Well, if you look around you on the forum, you'll notice you're completely alone on that one and that everyone else is just happily playing the game.nope want to them to fix an uplayable game i paid £30 for - its not unoptomised - its broken - and its been live 6 months

Mostly happily. It does get a little rough at timesWell, if you look around you on the forum, you'll notice you're completely alone on that one and that everyone else is just happily playing the game.
The frozen AI at the start is still there, but the stutters have gone for me. They do seem to like to sprint less, but I have not observed this 100% of the time and I've been doing a few CZs a day as well. I wouldn't call them unplayable, the biggest issue is the low FPS most people have been getting. Also one major issue to your list Sally. On-Foot combat zones have very strange NPCs' behavior since update 8. There is a known bug when NPCs do not move in combat zone, but now even if they move they are very very slow all the time, even in the situation when they have to run (like open field). It certainly was not the case before the update 8. I assume the new update of NPC's AI contains a bug. I have played about 10 combat zones yesterday, they all were non-playable.
I hope other commanders can confirm or object.
The CM posted this thread. The CM is reading this thread. Pinging the CM at this point is completely unnecessary.pretty please with a cherry on top, fix this - https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/44081
