The recent CG pair (purple and light blue) with some comparators - in green and yellow, the last CZ pair, which were fairly typical ... in blue and orange, the Coalsack CGs which were advertised (though not fulfilled) as having a 25% module threshold.

You can see that the module reward has made quite a difference to the NMLA's tier pattern here, and that's also reflected in the final scores - they were almost 3:1 behind on participants, but only just over 2:1 behind on bonds.

Given the backstory, probably about as even an outcome as there could have been - and as with last week, good to see Frontier experimenting more with these asymmetric setups.

THARGOID INVASION OF NEBULA SYSTEMS INTENSIFIES

30 NOV 3307
Pilots’ Federation ALERT
Systems in the California, Coalsack, Pleiades and Witch Head Nebulas are under sustained assault by the Thargoids.
Vox Galactica featured this report from freelance war correspondent Ernesto Rios:
“Multiple starports have been crippled by Thargoid attacks in recent weeks, with anti-xeno squadrons struggling to protect them. Many Commanders told me that this latest wave is proving unusually difficult to repel, with a steady stream of reinforcements replacing those alien vessels destroyed in battle.”
“In normal times Aegis would coordinate the defence effort, but its operations remain suspended due to the Baumann inquiry. Today, it is clear that many of the superpowers’ leaders have more faith in Salvation after his triumph in the Cornsar system, believing that he holds the key to defeating the Thargoids.”
“Both the Imperial Navy and the Alliance’s Council of Admirals have suggested committing naval forces to support Salvation. In the Federation, Congress has debated redirecting funds that were ring-fenced for Aegis to accelerate development of the anti-xeno superweapon.”
“As yet these are merely discussions, but do illustrate the wide-reaching impact of the Cornsar incident. In the meantime, in the absence of direct support from either Aegis or Salvation, pilots are sacrificing their lives as they fight courageously to push back the Thargoid fleets.”

Lets give the person who made it worse moar monez!

More like Salvation ramping up his superweapon again.
Nah, why hasn't he/she/it already? Where has this new savior been all these past weeks?

Salvation is a pretty religious title. Something a cultist might use. And what would salvation look like according to the Far God cult? Exactly, everybody getting killed by Thargoids.

Subject D-2 had an existential crisis and ended up joining the cult. Her brief "connection" with the Thargoids during the tests also contributed to her being sympathetic towards them. She hijacked Aegis' megaship with all those Guardian artefacts to attract the Thargoids. This was possible because as a result of the experiments she was part of, she is able to enter witchspace.

She orchestrated the "prediction" in Cornsar and had one more trick up her sleeves. Due to her unique situation, she knew how to disable the Thargoid drives. That's why all those Interceptors crashed in Cornsar. I assume the Thargoids have since fixed that issue and it was a one trick pony.

But her plan has worked. Most of humanity apparently now trust "Salvation". The Thargoids are enraged, Aegis is out of the picture. Subject D-2 has been wronged immensely by the world, now it's time for payback. A motivation not uncommon amongst Far God cultist. Looks like they might get their "salvation" after all.

Please ignore the holes in my theory.
