I play ED-H totally unarmed, as I am in real life. I hate killing anything ..... animals, insects, etc, and I prey that most others are like me.
I think it's something the US army - marines? - use but, for me, it reminded me of a scene from the film "Full Metal Jacket". It wasn't intended as a "hoo yar get some get some dya wanna piece of me die die die eat lead" thing - just a movie quoteThis makes me so sad.

I draw a hard line between what's acceptable in a video game and what's acceptable in real life. Confusing the two is a bad idea if you ask me. I wouldn't even be able to play ED if I treated it like real life. Thankfully, video games are not real and I can enjoy them as entertainment.This makes me so sad.

No, not for me. I used to, but not anymore. I believe the way I behave in real life is the way I show think in the imaginary life. Why should I be allowed to behave in an inappropriately imaginary way and not the same way in real life?
Can I imaging killing (murdering) somebody is ok when it is only make leave, but not ok in real life?
It's not ok where ever I think of it, video games. in my imagination, in reality, or even if it's in my dreams!

Lately I've been system hopping inhabited systems at the edge of the bubble in "IST - CLEMENTINE", my Type-7 miner-explorer.
I've found many systems that have no large stations but one or more Planetary Ports.
My primary activities have been:

- Haphazardly looking for better pre-upgraded suits and weapons
- Mapping and landing on every landable atmospheric body - for the views
- Visiting "Minor Wreckage", "Distress Signal", "Geological Signal" and other POIs
- Gathering Materials via SRV
- Salad hunting (scanning biologicals for Vista Genomics)
- Flying my SRV
- Making long term memories (er, I mean taking screenshots)
- Occasionally taking on-foot delivery and/or remove scavengers missions
- Ring mining

I'm still mining. Didn't do much yesterday and, to be honesst, EDO mission running is calling me back already...

Wombat says: Yes, agree. Fortunately I can tell the difference, otherwise I would have trouble understanding how you and others think differently (like our Marine friend from "Full Metal Jacket" about his rifle).
And, it's something I hope to remember when I'm trying to understand things.

Ok, did a few massacre missions then headed out for it!
Hmmm, having too much assassin missions in same system could cause trouble I assume, I have 3 accept in the same system last night, when i arrived the target system, 1 of the target (Vette) interdicted me as expected, so fights on! As soon as I turn around and open fire, a conda jumped in and join the fight.
I had soon decided to boost the F out, and think of how to deal with them. System authority landed soon and start shooting the conda, so I boosted back to vette. As I finished the conda it turned out it was another mission target, I'm glad the 3rd one didn't jump in too.
