I can't even begin to tell you just how accurate you are. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with these plebs: they really are the most inflexible, ignorant, unapproachable, rude, uselss, incompetant bunch of stupidty-munching a-hats - and that's just their "customer services". I have neve poured so much salt.

But I have sorted it out, in a lame way..... anyway, the job is done.
The mission was branched to a threat 6 signal source, when i arrived target jumped in a 3 ships wing, 2 vulture, and he's in FDL.
These ships are engineered.... 1v1 the FDL, I could be ok but meh... there's 2 vultures too... I bugged out before it was too late, jumped into SC then relog.
Take a short break and tried again...same 3 ships wing decided to bug out again.... I saw that FDL jumped in to SC too but at about 2k ls away. He didn't came to me and I noticed 1 ship missing in the wing. Wondering what's happening I went back to the signal source, the FDL was back too as expected but with a little surprise...
He's now in a wing of 4!!! 1 more Vulture there!!!!
Was about to drop the mission, but I was curious what would they do if I just stay there?They just keep flying around, spamming in the chat...then a weird idea popped in my mind. In normal gun fights I wont have a chance the complete the mission, what if I ram into the FDL to wrack off the shield?
I lined up carefully then boost - BAAAM, one ring down 
!!! He did not fire on me, he just fly away to avoid collision as i get close. I have to make a few pass before hitting him again, the second ring is gone too after a few collisions. He charged FSD at this moment, I thought I can't let him run like this, so I opened fire. Surprisingly, the wing did not return fire, and the Vultures just watching the FDL gose boom then jumped..

On another up side, my internets are limping a little but I think I'm fairly stable with this "hybrid connect" dongle thingummy until BT give me full phat 500Mbit line. Which should be nice. Think I may need a wifi booster though.
Aaaanyway. I'm typing away here waiting for a rather long SC to end. Took a mission to a system I've never been in and the planet I need is over 350kls away. That'll learn me. Still, it's all good fun and it's great to be back in the game

Brought an Acer same size and very similar spec a few years ago, good monitor, I have had several Ilyama monitors in the past, never had a problem with them and they were only passed on when switching to a newer spec.On the up side, I've now ordered a click-and-collect from Curry's

back to game: i went for a little transport mission to get ??? number of food canisters. got them okay, i must tell you that the threat level was 8, against my shield less asp scout. Landed at the planet base and all staff where dead. So i went for a little jog around base for some extra goodies.
just remember when your doing this not to re-enter your ship to many times, guess that what triggered the commandos units. anyway, got out side ok took a few pot shots at them has i saw one shooting my ship. Got killed. deployed back on ship to see a 1% left. flew back to mission base and landed, very very gently
mission completed. and no indictions

Hmm. That extra backpack space needs moe room for certain assets like hush, lazarus, g-meds etc. Only 30 at a time seems a little stingy.

agreed, my backpack in a few mins was completely full the bio horticultural facticity even thou all were dead, i had to make 2-3 trips for all the stuff back to ship. was that an fd INTENTIONAL.just to give you a suprise when you walk outside and get the suprise commandos units.
