Someone asked me in here whether the new limpet controllers will be engineer-able (haha my head) and with all the conversation I've lost who the Commander was!

Answer: At present, no - with the team it's something we can look into later down the line, but it'd be great to monitor and digest how you, as Commanders, find the controllers as a concept first.

Hope this helps!

New SRV looks awesome! Just noticing a wee issue where the Shipyard in Starport Services gets stuck loading and doesn't appear to open

With the size of this beast my fingers are totally exoected to mess up at some point haha!
Thank youuuu o7
COMMANDERS.
So sorry about this, trying to make sure that every expectation is set and this is one hefty update to pick through!

Updated SRV section to the following:
  • Scarab Cargo Bay changed from 2 to 4.
    • PLEASE NOTE | KNOWN ISSUE:
    • Your current Scarab's loadouts won't auto update with the new update applied.
    • Commanders will be required to buy a new Scarab SRV to get the new capacity.
Talking this through on dev side, just keeping you in the loop.

Not a complaint, just seeking clarification....

Does this mean that any new purchased SRV bays are size 4 modules and therefore 8 of the small ships will no longer be able to be equipped with one?

It's got to be 'are we there yet?' time now!!!

Edit: (opens launcher) 'play' still showing.......AAAWWW! I spy with my.......... :ROFLMAO:
The 3 hour server downtime has finished the, probably, 3 hour download time is still preparing.

I think this is actually a very sensible approach. If nothing else, the engineers need to have a play with the MLCs too, otherwise they won't figure out what they can do with them :)

Ouch...

Really not looking forward to mount a 128t size 7 limpet controller on an Exploration Conda
Hope the team is really looking into make those taking the same engineering mods as the standard controllers
