Just a reminder - SQ42 isn't happening. It's now called 'Next Year'.Just a reminder - iCache is not happening anymore. It is now called "replication layer".
Star Citizen may also become 'Buy Another Jpeg'.... next next year....

And you're still expecting them to do earth like worlds, what makes you think they will?
I think CIG could make a Crusader sized planet and give it a surface to land on, i don't see why not but like Orison no one would ever go there as it takes too long to fly in and out of its atmosphere and Orison is already at an elevated altitude.
When do you think Cobblers Inc will deliver the other 109 star systems that they are committed to?And you're still expecting them to do earth like worlds, what makes you think they will?

I'm hoping FD do earthlike words. I try and keep my expectations low when it comes to ED though.
Regarding travel times of Orison, etc, as i said, they could have QT at the same distance from the ground and increase QT speeds to match a 1:1 solar system.
You can't QT until you get out of the thickness of the atmosphere, you have to gain a minimum altitude, if you think about it that's correct, space craft entering atmosphere heat to the melting-point of steel and QT is very much faster than that.
Even air has friction at a high enough speed.
Shower of swine...I should never have mentioned me missing my Pirate Cat@Mole HD don't watch this, nothing for you in here

Not exactly exploits some times simulation just borks out and gives away pretty lucrative contracts. But it is not exactly against rules to use those situations.
They added bad guy ship NPC's in atmosphere, don't know why this hasn't been a thing sooner.....

They should have just come on here to do their research and find out that they can just endlessly argue who's game is better than who's instead...riveting. Another 2 entire pages arguing what game has the bigger planets and why it matters![]()
Parody or sincere?
Outside their safe space they discover that people don't hold the same opinion, but its the other people who are wrong!
Love how they don't follow through on the logic of how if its 15% complete and 10% done that would put it at over 60 years to deliver. (Which might be the most realistic estimate I've seen to date for CIG delivering on everything). I guess they follow the usual faithful thought process of "once the pipelines are in place development will really speed up", that we've heard about for years, and its complete and utter rubbish.

Remember when John Walker from Rock Paper Shotgun interviewed Peter Molyneux?
First question...
RPS: Do you think that you're a pathological liar?
I wonder if Chris Roberts would agree to be interviewed by Mr Walker?![]()
For the same reason why all ships and stations aren't fully explorable. It's because Frontier is a company that has to generate a profit through sales of products, and is answerable to its shareholders. Then why aren't EDO's earth likes explorable?
That interview was a bit of a car wreck: I wanted to look away but wanted to see what was going to happen.Remember when John Walker from Rock Paper Shotgun interviewed Peter Molyneux?

If you are talking about Star Citizen/SQ42, Godus and the ED franchise respectively, well, then at least one of them has actually delivered a base game and several DLC and subjected itself to the scrutiny and critique of the market for those products. You may or may not like those (or want more) but they are at least out there fair and square fending for themselves. I suppose that was then a bit of a "find the odd one out"?With Roberts, Moylneux and Braben we have the holy trinity of veteran game developers over promising and under delivering.
