So I’ve been at war with this player group for about a month and a half now. Brought their influence down from 30% to 9% and am working on bringing up the anarchy faction to flip the system into anarchy.

I’ve kept things all relevant to ingame. This player group recently decided to find out where I work and send a letter to my HR department stating that I’m harassing and extorting them. I get an email/call to discuss the concern against me and HR understood that this was outside of work and only over a video game.

I’ve sent evidence and screenshots to those that needed to see it to confirm it did happen. My question is what is the best way to get in contact with FDev/XBOX over the situation? Now they’re threatening my lively hood and taking things outside of game which isn’t ok

This sounds not just unfair, but actually illegal, their legal department need to hear about it ASAP, it could lead to very bad press and investigations, but the very first thing is, stop posting about it on the forums. Any information posted here could be counter-productive to any investigations Frontier needs to conduct, this is not the place for these sorts of things. Frontier officially, even the police since they have tracked you down from the game and attacked you outside the game, which is the equivalent of swatting and may actually end up with something like that. Treat it seriously, it is serious!

Ok understood, it's still serious and illegal and shouldn't be posted here though. Even with the squadron name removed it's easy enough to track down with the info supplied, and posting it here may well attract the ire of the squadron on to yourself if it comes to their attention and FDEV do pay attention. Be careful with this sort of stuff!

And people wonder why I avoid hierarchical command structures where I am not the lord paramount! Or labor in general. Or making it too easy to pin down my actual identity. Well, actually, they don't wonder about the why for any of that...

Anyway, communicating with other people in games is fine. Certainly better than communicating with them in other circumstances where you might be in a position to smell them.

All it takes is one person to ruin it for everyone else.

If true they should delete the player faction to serve as a warning that doxing isn't tolerated.

If I was a member of that squadron I'd be getting outta there pronto. But that won't stop the vigilantes who have seen the squadron's roster

The irony is that they'll be harping on about how great the Elite community is, as they make an innocent's player's experience of the game... not so great

Honestly, if that was any of my staff I'd probably schedule a quick meeting about it, check they're ok and not showing the same kind of behaviour and once that was out the way have a good laugh with them about it and congratulate them since whatever they were doing, they've already won.
