I didn't shoot him when he jumped in, instead I keep bumping him, that's harder than you thought to bump out his shield. I intended to bump him to death but FSD charged as hull down below 80%, I was forced to open fire...![]()
I use the same bi-weave percussion attack for wing targets as well. I still refuse to fly a purpose built combat ship so with my limited skills, a straight up fight to try to take down the multiple higher threat wing targets never work in my multi-purpose ship. (I see you using a vette. Doesnt that steamroll them if you do decide to fire away?)
They always tend to charge FSD after a while but when I open fire at that point, it somehow seems to make them cancel the FSD.
