I'm sceptical of that, the presence of Frontier on Reddit has always been minimal to nonexistent. In the past they've been pretty clear that the forum is the only place they go to for feedback.Community wishlists from reddit

Actually, it depends entirely on how far they go, they can extend the game support for a couple of years. I even think that's likely to happen because:No. Most of ,,top tier,, animals wont make into the game anyway. Its like suggestion for them. Frontier ultimately decide what region they want to visit next, so every animal has it's chance.
You can add 5 more animals if you want!Made a throwaway account just for this... let the voice of American flamingo fans be heard!! (Also, I couldn't really decide on an order, so tried to prioritize unique animals)
- South American Coati
- Capybara
- Scarlet Ibis
- Secretary Bird
- Abyssinian Ground Hornbill
- Geoffroy’s Spider Monkey
- Green Anaconda (i know this is a long shot for a habitat animal, but... I can dream!)
- Lar Gibbon
- Duck-Billed Platypus
- Maned Wolf
- Caracal
- Golden Lion Tamarin
- Asian Small-Clawed Otter
- Przewalski's Horse
- Red River Hog
- Amur Leopard
- Asian Small-Clawed Otter
- American Flamingo
- Sloth Bear
- Bennet's Wallaby
I love foxes, but yeah if there's gonna be another fox in game I think my preference would go to the icon and world renowned red fox.You know an animal that I'm surprised that doesn't have more votes is the Bat Eared Fox. Maybe people are more like "if we get another fox it needs to be the red fox" or they feel it's too similar to the fennec fox. I think they're cute but they barely have any votes (and they aren't in my top 20 list either, though they're very close to it)
which makes sense. The Red Fox has a lot of votes. I do think Frontier would really do well to release a pack consisting of some of the more requested "common" animals and it could definitely headline a pack.I love foxes, but yeah if there's gonna be another fox in game I think my preference would go to the icon and world renowned red fox.
Little bit from column A, little bit from column B. The red fox is without a doubt the most important fox at this point (personally, it was always my top choice). But even then, there's a handful of other canids that I'd prefer to see first. The raccoon dog is my #1 favorite animal not in the game already, the maned wolf is too popular to ignore, and at that point there's still the bush dog and even the black-backed jackal that would be much more unique, if only superficially in the latter's case. I'd even argue that the gray fox, with its unique proclivity for climbing, would be a more suitable fourth fox after the red fox. Heck, I'd even prefer the coyote first since it's a local species. I know that one's not a particularly popular pick, though. You know an animal that I'm surprised that doesn't have more votes is the Bat Eared Fox. My favorite of all the foxes especially for it’s simplicity in making the shared species exibits and walk in habitats. It’s a perfect zoo animal. You know an animal that I'm surprised that doesn't have more votes is the Bat Eared Fox. The zoo nearest me has them in a habitat with Ruppel's griffon vultures. It's one of the main reasons I'm so hopeful that if we do get aviaries, we'll be able to mix the aviary birds with traditional terrestrial animals. Granted, in the I believe 4 times I've been since they've gotten their bat-eared foxes, I've only seen them once.My favorite of all the foxes especially for it’s simplicity in making the shared species exibits and walk in habitats. I have seen them mixed with Red River hogs, Warthogs, Porcupines, Mongooses and Aardvarks.
I believe that zootierliste is right but it also count animal parks which I do not consider zoo’s per se.The zoo nearest me has them in a habitat with Ruppel's griffon vultures. Zootierliste suggests that both the red fox and raccoon dog are considerably more common in European zoos than bat-eared foxes if I'm reading it right, though. I mean of course that has no bearing on what you have or haven't seen yourself, just thought that was interesting. On the other hand, only one zoo in the entire US currently has raccoon dogs to my knowledge, Oklahoma City. Atlanta did until both of theirs passed away last year, and they had bush dogs until recently as well, but now both species are gone and have been replaced with the much less charismatic maras. Oh well, I still like maras.
I’ll quote myself from another thread:I believe that zootierliste is right but it also count animal parks which I do not consider zoo’s per se.
Oops! corrected list here:You can add 5 more animals if you want!
You also have Asian Small-Clawed Otter listed twice.
