Developers, when will you start working without bugs! Your failure has already begun to infuriate! I just want to play and enjoy the game, and all I get is a nervous breakdown. Do you check players for how loyal they are to you? but you've checked it enough already. Now start working. I'm already afraid of your updates. The new update came out and broke everything... and so every update. and then players wait at least a week for you to fix it.
Do you test your updates at all? Or do you implement them and test them for us? then I can't understand why I'm not getting paid for this?
Then let's all write to the developers what is not broken yet and works at least somehow, let them break it in the next "grand" update, we will remove the game with peace of mind and go about our business.

Yes, that's what it feels like.

Not being able to play, I just went ahead and made, from scratch, a thin crust pizza for my kid (yeah, it's also Elite). And, as soon as he returned from school, he was ecstatic.

DSS shows multiple biological signals on this heavenly body: 1/3 pepperoni, 1/3 ham and pineapple, and 1/3 plain. All drowning in Mozzarella, the way he likes.

It's one of the many rewards he gets for introducing me to this rewarding game in November, 2020.

Hey Sally. Hope your morning coffee is going well. Nothing new to report, and no pressure on the main issue of this thread, I get how long these things can take, but it did give me an idea.

Do you have, or could you guys make (during the next time when there's not server issues happening, and things are more calm) a write-up of your server architecture? Nothing too specific, nothing about what software you run, etc., but an overview of like "we have 200 servers, the ones that handle you moving around in space are separate from the login ones, and this service that you don't think about much gets it's own servers, we have server clusters in these countries, our servers have a tick rate of X, our servers communicate with your client most when Y happens, our peak congestion is usually at Z o'clock in timezone A. When our servers go down, this is what it's like to bring them back up: [list of generic things you do, explained for laymen]", and so on? I read posts like that the same way a little kid reads books about magic and dragons. I know you're all about Comms, but maybe showing interest in this kind of thing will get this comment shown around somewhere in FDev, and get a post written up.

Thanks for your hard work! External communication is a hard job, and you and your team do it well.

damn now I am hungry... if it's not earworms it's tummy rubbles

Anyone know if I should do the Odyssey training mission again? seems my character has to redo this since the server issues tonight. Also it says "Recruit" on the top left corner of the screen when I'm in the training mission, last time I checked, my CMDR name isn't Recruit lol

There's a very nice 2015 re:invent presentation on the E D cloud architecture:

No idea how much of this still applies.

I'm getting those "cramps" in my throat, like a dog being shown a juice beef that it can't get to. Looks delicious (y)
