I'm sure we are all really excited for the months worth of information the CMs have surely been collating to massively release upon us! I mean, its surely the only reason they have been so silent. After all, a community manager's job is to engage with the community, so the only thing that is stopping them is a boatload of work preparing to communicate with us!
Its going to be mega! No other explanation possible!

Yep, I think this is it. Update 11 will definitely fix the performance issues, crossplay is happening and a console release is being announced - all by the end of this year.
There will also be the new DLC plans with spaceship interiors along with on foot gameplay including raiding derelicts on crash sites. 2 new alien species are waiting to be discovered powerplay is getting fleshed out to become a dynamic system tied in with all future storylines. Can't wait for it to be made official.
Maybe we can do that thing I see go around on Facebook occasionally. Like tag a CM and if they don't respond within 30mins they have to make it happen.

You clearly don't understand Community Management development! The CMs have to cook for just the right amount of time before they are ready!
If one takes them out of the oven prematurely, all hell breaks loose...
All the juice runs out, and nobody wants to see that kind of a mess.
