Im not even kidding Drew Wagar is now busy uploading revenge against elite.

Its a valid drinking game in his new no mans sky video every time he takes a jab at elite.

Maybe he's convincing himself how mvp elite really is. Which it is.. you have to look at it like truck simulator / farming simulator to make it worth your time. The poor guy. Well if he's gotten a taste for all the attention over there.. i guess finding something / someone that can make one laugh is what most space gamers want.

Part of my ranting is due to the fact I dont ever last long enough to start a mission let alone finish one.

There should be a thread made about peoples opinions on what games would be great with ~half a billion bucks. Almost all games I'd say are more deserving than SC.

Yeah, taking the bread and butter of grinding as an example, moving stuff about the verse, having physical boxes in your cargo bay that you physically move by hand at point A and point B is a lot more involved than pressing buttons on a screen and moving to another screen to press some more buttons.

Should check out Motor Town...graphics are low poly, but you can carry small crates in your arms, to places. Or load them into trucks, of course. If you dont strap in your load, they'll flop around, bounce out your truck, hence the need to sometimes pick them up, and put them back in...it's in Early Access on the steams.

That rant post a number of months ago wasn't just him wanting to leave ED, it was to take as many as he could with him. A decent effort.
Over there, though, misery loves company...so depressing. (sorry, watching BBC Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy lol) What happens when his book doesn't have the right coloured pixel on its cover? Then things will change.

Terra's has almost returned to its stalker proximity to Sol btw. This means Twilight wanes since Spring is coming.

Which also means the likes of all you blasphemous, anti-hemoglobin, pro Vegan, Team Eddie sparkly Soy Boi vamps and groupie thralls will be forced back into the shadows until next winter solstice.....with the rest of us genuine immortals. I don't know what your specs are or when you've last played but personally i've racked up enough credits for a Cutlass & a Gladius. What problems do you usually encounter?

Main guy talking (other than hobo) was a SC backer before going to work at CIG. So they hired a dreamer who will be happy taking the next 30 years making fidelity.

Speaking of which, funding has dipped a bit in recent weeks. They need to sell more JPGs.

I think as a rule it's the type of thing people don't really mention though. Nobody wants to admit they've put themselves in a real life hole by buying spaceships... (Or to undercut their negotiation position by displaying desperation etc).

For the streamers, ay. Although SC has seen off a few of the super dedicated ones in the time I've been following. WTFosaurus and BadNewsBaron spring to mind...

Although stalwarts like Captain '$50k' Richard, and Mike (in his more salty incarnation these days), are still around from the same time frames I guess.

It'd be no surprise if newer replacements like Morph, and smaller versions like Ender, Bognogus etc, step away from regularly streaming it at minimum though. Too much pain, not enough gain...

Streamers getting burned out on a game they've covered for years and that is buggy as hell! What a surprise! The end is neigh for SC! Doom!
