Spring 2022 dlc

Looking at the active player base in Planet Zoo it used to be very consistent with ups and downs in the same range for the last years, but it has been very noticably declining since february and march 2022 to a current all time low, so this would make me think an aviary pack would be necessary for them to really revive the player base again.
You read it wrong. This look like this, because 2 last points are 6 march: (sunday) and 17th march: yesterday thursday. It says 3 march, but stats are for sunday, because its always highest activity peak for players. So next Sunday (point for 20th March) line will go up. For some reason steamDB always show thursday dates with sunday stats.

Also since last 2 sundays both had 5818 players at peak (what a coincidence):
Its still better than pre-Australia pack peroid, pre-NA pack peroid, post Australia pack peroid. So its not all time low.
EU pack was released over 3 months ago, its naturally that player activity drop. It has already stabilized at usual drought peroid.

Looks like we got just about 2 weeks left of March and not even a hint.
NA pack came out in October instead of hitting the expected month of September (all dlcs last year came out March, June, and December). Either we get something first week of April or frontier has changed dlc formula for this year

It looks like just before Easter is most likely based on the last two years’ releases.

Ok, I just realized that Mexico is considered part of Central America, according to PZ.

So, this further fortified my Central American animal pack idea: we can include Mexico into the mix, giving even more ideas

I mean what is Central America if Mexico isn't ?

I always considered Central America as Mexico plus few regions at the south but not necessarily

Some definitions of Central America include Mexico, others limit it to Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.

In terms of continents, Central America is itself part of North America unless you consider the Americas to be a single continent as some cultures do.

Frontier's posted another thing on Facebook today with a meet the developers at the London Natural History Museum. Which is very cool. But...two non-standard posts in two days and neither about upcoming features.....they're poking the tiger's paw (or whatever that saying is). Ah well, at least it's something.

Unless this visit to the LNHM is gonna hint to a new feature?

That I actually agree. Tassie devils should have been in the roster rather than dingo. The devil's are primely Australian while dingoes are more of Papua New Guinea origins...
That isn't actually true - dingoes evolved in Australia from an ancestor in Southeast Asia. The New Guinea singing dog has a common ancestor as well IIRC. Dingoes are just as Australian as the Tasmanian devil. I just prefer the devil because, especially in recent years, it has a much larger conservation focus than the dingo, and from a gameplay perspective it isn't just another variation on the dog formula.

This is just all based on the "it has to be 3 months" thing, which was always incorrect. September was one of the two options, if you looked at PlanCo you knew that October is also an option. Same goes for March and April, it either of the two, based on PlanCo and PlanZoo.

They're still perfectly within their release formula that they always had, so there's no reason to assume they've changed it.

This, so much this.
Game is performing 'fine' compared to other periods, even considering that the older the game gets, the lower activity is to be expected.

Well if there’s going to be 4 dlcs this year like last year then it falls on the 3 month formula. Just seems NA got delayed to beginning of October.
Hmm I just sow on PZ Facebook that the devs are going to be at some event on March 25th, maybe we will hear something in regards to what’s next by that time or that night.

I’m predicting an endangered animal pack that will drop on the 4th of April
No proof, just have a feeling, some may call it a sneaky suspicion
One thing that I've always found kinda weird, is for the conservation status, they have one for extinct in the wild, but we don't have any animals in that category right now. so cause of that, i have a feeling that they might do a conservation pack
