And if gullible complains, play the "it's alpha" cardAh well, let "delightful" Kate and JFrags make bullshots of it and the gullible will be fooled.

Still doesn't understand why you tie implication with money put in a project... If CIG needed money, I would understand and I would have probably given them money, but it is not the case. Whether I give them 500€ would not change anything for CIG.My point is you have contributed virtually nothing over the years and are relying on other backers to put their hands in their pockets to keep the thing going. Whilst at the same time making out you are a huge fanboy of the project and CI are going to deliver everything they promised, but not with any more money from you, and keeping your hands stuffed firmly in your pockets. Not a good look in my opinion.
You still think they have all the money or something? Spoiler, most of it will already have been spent/wasted. Whales were promised things by Crobber that will never happen to extract lots of cash. I bet most of the early ones stopped putting money in years ago. I do think there is some money laundering going on though. Of course they need your money.Still doesn't understand why you tie implication with money put in a project... CIG is a game's company, not a foundation that fights against cystic fibrosis. They don't need my money to continue the project. I prefer donating money to vaincrelamuco.org.
I think you are mainly disappointed not being able to call me a whale...
Oh CIG absolutely need more money. A lot more money.
For sure they need money. But they have and they will have all the money needed, with or without me.You still think they have all the money or something...
I won't be seeing anymore post from you.For sure they need money. But they have and they will have all the money needed, with or without me.
What I've discovered over the years is that some folks don't need the prop of financial investment to become emotionally invested in this project. I honestly can't count the times I've been crushingly überfanboyed in game, on Spectrum or on here by random $45 backers@LA
I'm really struggling to comprehend you only being in for the minimum to be honest LA, why?
- You are insanely invested and defensive about every aspect of the project.
- You gush over the most insignificant drivel, bedsheets for example, should they ever complete a star system you're gonna explode.
- I'm struggling to remember a single bug, widespread or otherwise, that has affected you personally, which, given the state of the game, is farcical frankly.
- Your 'just because they lied to everyone 5 years ago doesn't mean it'll happen to me' is naive bordering on complete denial.
- You constantly say 'when x, y or z is in', (as if it's a foregone conclusion), a, b and c will happen, totally neglecting the fact x, y and z have been 1-2 years away for 7 bloody years in some cases.
So, if you are in for minimum it's probably just as well because if you are this invested on £45 you would be basically CIG's biatch if you were in for any more. If you aren't, which seems the case to me at least, then why are you fibbing about it? Just musing here but maybe it's to avoid further ridicule, or personal shame or because you know you'd just be outed as another whale or near whale shill who's too invested emotionally and financially to have any level of objectivity whatsoever.
EDIT - In short LA I think you are absolutely full of it, personal opinion.
Perhaps it's this sort of sentence that trigger my will to keep going back here again and again.you would be basically CIG's biatch
It's also funny to read you all explaining why SC is doomed while in the same time the game is more enjoyable patch after patch
3.17 is maybe the worse patch I ever played in SC history
The game is unplayable. what has been going on for 10 years?
Been playing for about half a year and this has been the buggiest it’s been. Waiting on 3.17.1
With 3.17 I’ve had more actual pc crashes and game crashes or catastrophic bugs than I ever have.
Well…I finally have a reason to check out X4….
With 3.17 I’ve had more actual pc crashes and game crashes or catastrophic bugs than I ever have. Even 3.16 at the very end was more stable than this.
So far 3.17.1 has been the worst for me, consistent CTD as I reach the hab elevator XD
I recently started a new playthrough of X4 (Terran start, first time), and it's been crazy fun and addictive. Not only have I been enjoying the story line, but the way the galaxy is "unfolding" this time has been really challenging and intriguing and keeping me glued to this game. I have to admit, my current thought is, "Do I want to waste time downloading, installing, configuring, and experimenting with Star Citizen right now when all I want to do is play X4?"Some backers may actually find that statement about progress funny. Many actually think it is the opposite (1700 upvotes and counting):

SC is soooo bad. And the funding is soooo not exploding at all. Some backers may actually find that statement about progress funny. Many actually think it is the opposite (1700 upvotes and counting)
Etc etc etc
I do not know man, but I can see a lot of posters in that thread in the SC reddit (among others) disagree with you. Not just in this thread.SC is soooo bad. And the funding is soooo not exploding at all.
Just wait for the end of may, you will see how everybody is fed up of SC and will vote with their wallet to show how bad is the alpha![]()
It's sad how this childishness is your fallback for any criticism about the game, regardless of whether its here or within the SC community.SC is soooo bad. And the funding is soooo not exploding at all.

Maybe NEXT Free Fly will be the one...
It's also nice being able to play a space game that doesn't break when my Internet has a hiccup![]()
Strangely enough...even I agree with youI do not know man, but I can see a lot of posters in that thread in the SC reddit (among others) disagree with you. Not just in this thread.
The controls menu has always been a grade one clusterfarce. Rather than completely redoing it, Ci¬G just keep adding and subtracting keybinds as it suits them...or adding yet another page to the HOTAS axes functions which are mostly duplicated elsewhere or over ridden by mouse and keyboard controls that you're forced to troll around several conflicting pages of gumph to disable...Funny thing - I installed SC about two weeks ago, but the "configuring" part so far has got me beat. I tinkered around with the control setup menu for a bit, but it is atrociously unwieldy, imo. In DCS I can set up my main axes quickly and efficiently* and be flying in minutes, but I didn't even make it out of my bunk in SC, yet. I don't use WASD, so in addition to the flying part, I also have to set up my own FPS keyboard settings and tbh, I just couldn't be arxed to spend more than 15 minutes with it. So far, it's MP only anyway and I'm not really interested in the MMO part.
* In all fairness I have to admit that here is, of course, a learning period involved with that, but still, the DCS control setup is much more logically grouped and easier to use. Again, imo.
I hope thats the case, since my guess is they wont be adding another one...and even if they do, it'll be a log out, choose the next system, then log back in sort of deal. No jumps! Hows that for immersions?SC has enough space with a single system.... oh my, the copium!
