Comparing what is and what isn't, Pay attention.

Well, console development (deliberate choice of words here) was dropped because the game was broken. However minor, it's still a drop in potential revenue and is a failure to carry out something they would have said to investors that they would do. It might even be less encouragement to develop some things they would have otherwise. Doesn't matter what it is, we should never celebrate something we like being scaled back.
Frontier admitted Consoles were the problem, that's why they were put on hold then cancelled.

To read between the lines what dr. Kay Ross told about the situation back in October on the developments of consoles and their cancellation was the money questions, she didn’t stated directly but her side message was clear.

therefore the cancelled investigation and fixing of the planet tillings, which was canceled due to not enough resources.
Told a lot.

Elite had a great loss of revenue due to heavy overloading of fixes and updates the last year. So they are operating on barley minimum to gather the best results.

The statements above are all correct as which titles were NEVER going to Console. Go look them up. Why do you think EDO was released in aa Alpha condition? They had a dead-line and Consoles just slowed them down to much having to make two completely different engines. One for PC and the other for Console. Why do you think Consoles were put on hold?
 
Consoles weren't the problem in the slightest, since they're very good at what they do...getting ED:O to work presentably on last gen consoles was FDev's problem. Such a PC master race attitude blaming consoles for everything ;)

Have you ever played anything on any console? I have games on PS4 pro and Xbox one X that would make my gaming rig squeal a bit (I've got a fairly competent rig)...RDR2 or Horizon Zero Dawn on ultra settings...I have those games on PS, Xbox and PC...I can't tell the versions apart when played side by side on my dual 2k monitors, apart from the mods I have running on the PC versions 🤷‍♂️

Consoles are very capable bits of hardware...and I'm not even going into the Xbox series X or the PS5 here...

That's a load of tripe! How could consoles damage the development of Odyssey on PC when it wasn't even available on console. They hadn't even begun to code Odyssey specifically for consoles!

So it’s runs fine ? So Fdev is spending time for nuts in the next two updates because they are focused heavy on performance and bug fixing, because elite is running very well since console drops. Made my day 🙂

Exactly. One only has to look at Planetside 2 and what they were able to do with an original PS4. Same graphics as Ultra on PC, dozens and dozens of online payers. No performance issues there!

Who's fault is that, ours? What the hell are you saying, FDevs failure to code properly is our fault??? Who's supposed to be the expert coders?

No, what's happened here is you made some stupid comparisons, made claims that made no sense, dug yourself a big hole and then realised you've made a pratt of yourself.

Perhaps some of the "PC Master somethings" should remove their head from their smelly orifice and check out the current generation of consoles? They are surprisingly well specified.

I stopped playing ED on the Xbox after 2,200 hours in early 2017 and switched over to PC. I've managed 5,500 hours total over Xbox and PC since I bought into the GPP on Xbox. Even on early alpha testing and since the release of Odyssey, I didn't have many performance issues...saying that, I'm a regular Star Citizen player which runs like pants anyway...so what do I know? :D

Odyssey just after release on my rig... 60fps ain't too bad 🤷‍♂️

 
The problem is that to make Odyssey work on console they would have needed a current gen version of the game. Then they'd need to continue optimising Odyssey so it would run well (this would be happening regardless since we are still getting at least 3 more updates) and somewhere in there port Odyssey only on current gen. Personally I think there was doubt the time and resources involved would get them the return they wanted, especially since the time put into Odyssey on PC would already have been delaying other projects. That's what happened.

Odyssey would also be fine if people upgrade from their potato PCs too. Is that something we should be saying?

Dunno mate, modern consoles would definitely compete with my RX 580 and Ryzen 2700X.
And I'm sure I know who the winner would be in a duel between a PS5 and my crappy old Pentium 4 Dell Inspirion that I used over 15 years ago.
