Considering all the intricacies of the list, plus people mispelling and misnaming animals, I think it's more cost-effective for @random goat to do it the way he does now.

Either they want their vote to count for whichever species has the most votes in the future if the top species of choice changes or to be able to revote another animal when either species is added in a future pack.

When I don’t specify it’s mostly because I am from Germany and the names of subspecies differ a looooot to the names in english.
I‘d love to see the three toed sloth but as the two toed one is more common in zoos I‘d be happy with that either!
