The system is way more empty now that the trade CG is over. I was at the HazRes hoping to wing with someone for the BH CG, but not a soul was to be found. I guess most folks are thinking, "Why bother?" with a puny "regular" CG after making billions upon billions of credits in this trading CG.
Oh well. I'll try again Tuesday, which seems to be some weird magical day for combat-related CGs in terms of popularity. Maybe I should ask Frontier to issue billion credit bounties on Elite pirates, LOL. That'll fill my instance!

You will be out of luck, as Tuesday will be patchday. Well I did find a couple of folk to wing up with, but I stand by my observation that I'm encountering a lot less players than I was while the trade CG was active, and that includes at the station. Also, I did just ONE run in a HazRes and that was enough to put me in the 50% range, so I'm not convinced that everyone who did the trade CG has since switched over to the bounty hunting CG (unless they are mostly in solo and only shooting harmless Sidewinders).
I started late but managed to make more money than the previous 2 years and a half combined (tbf, I was in hiatus for 10 months), getting 3 elite trade ranks in the process. So, finally a Fleet Carrier with all services if I want, with a year of maintenance and some left over for some high end fully equiped ship.

According to system chat, this seems to be the case (that and solo). My little wing was short-lived, and then I was alone again. Though that didn't stop me from getting stuck in a blue tunnel and having to force quit...They're probably all in Odyssey!
I just counted - 11 people encountered today after playing a couple of hours. This includes people at the station and in supercruise. That's really not a lot.
And no, I'm not buying Odyssey just to wing up with people.

I for one did hit a HazRes shortly after the trade CG ended and, same, top 50% in one run. Plenty of big boys to shoot at too, not just puny flies.
You mean Odyssey, right? I thought you only played Horizons.

Still even on my aging computer space flight gets good frames per second, it's the on foot content that does have some problems.. Personally I think that in spite of its warts it does look better than EDH.. Maybe it's time to get with the times, I mean if you think that SC is good, then EDO really isn't bad at all..
I can confirm. Sort of. I did the hauling CG on Odyssey only long enough to rank up to Elite V (I switched to EDH right after), and other than the darkness and the headache-inducing bright colors and jagged edges from hell, performance was pretty good on my less than ideal specs, 50-55 FPS most of the time.
I'm sorry, but I have to politely disagree. I'll show you why.
I took this on Horizons (sorry, can't remember system/body):
I immediately exited and relogged on EDO to try and replicate same shot. This is what I found:
I could almost hear that poor, lonely, half-buried anemone's cry of pain, as if saying "Please don't kill me. I'm the only one left from the beautiful forest that once covered these lands."
It does vary... Some planets look better in EDO and some in EDH..? 
Also there seems to be the loss of deep canyons and mountains on EDO, too bad and I hope that FDev can give us some of those back. I'd also vote for handcrafting Mount Nerverest, Pomeche, Mount Wesley, etc..

My FC is now parked and mothballed, with eighty weeks of upkeep in the FC balance.
FTW, another year that you don't have to play Elite!
