They look the same to me...
If you look at the vertical dividers at the top of the stairs, the ones in the newer image look more squashed. It's not by much, but it's visible if you look at the images side by side. If I walk up to NPC's they look shorter and squatter.

I have to say I can't see it probably because of the difference between the locations of where the pictures were taken, the only thing I can see is how much they move due to that.

The effect is more pronounced when you move. Unfortunately these were the only screenshots I had where I had a before situation. So trying to recreate the exact same position was tricky, but I'm very close to where I was standing for the first screenshot

Duplicating the first shot could be done by overlaying new screenshots and then moving and taking another until they matched but it is not really worth the effort for so small a discrepancy.
Now we can sit I suppose it would be possible to more easily set up a known picture location By always taking sots from the same chair.

4 crashes to desktop and 1 crash to reboot (2 before hotfix and 3 after).

...
You mean your OS actually rebooted itself on 1 occasion? I've never ever seen ED cause that myself (strictly speaking it shouldn't be possible), and I'd be inclined to suspect software/hardware issues beyond the game.

(Screenshot: LOL, it's apparently not entertaining enough to keep the one underneath awake :D)

@sallymorganmoore I'm pretty sure I won't get enough confirmations on the tracker, because not many are using their HOTAS on foot, so I'll try here:

The item wheel causes all kinds of wierd effects like executing things bound to the same axis or button simultaneusly. Once that happens, my bindings are broken and I have to relog to get them working again....until I use the item wheel again. Enable context menu on foot is on, but it doesn't seem to work quite right currently. This is severe to the point of my having to unbing the item wheel to be able to even play normally. It's no hard ware defect, in the ship controls everything behaves fine.

Well, this sure died down quickly. Guess the rest of the bugs caused by U12 have to wait until U13 and beyond.

I could see them leaving the panels issue, but I would be surprised if they didn't look at the AMD drivers compatibility - eventually even Morbad will get bored telling ppl to downgrade. Unless they're waiting for AMD to fix the drivers, but then they'd tell us right? Right?

Not sure what else there is that I would count as anywhere near needing another patch 🤔

If I'm just looking at the reports around U12, I haven't seen any definitive confirmation that the CTDs (multiple causes) have been fixed yet, nor the fact that Protect missions for anarchy factions feature Omnipol as members of that anarchy faction (which is of course fairly counterproductive). Other, less pertinent issues would be the flickering lighting sources/shadows related to Directional Shadow Quality, or the broken/jagged shadows caused by Spot Shadow Quality (and the weird, possibly erroneous decision to tie two different smoke shaders to Low/Medium and High/Ultra respectively).

That said, I don't think the Horizons' class 3 frag cannon issue from U11 has been fixed either, nor my slightly more personal beef with the misaligned placeholder dots and the broken draw range for bodies.

None of those sound like major issues stopping a lot of people playing IMHO, though fdev get to decide 🤷‍♀️

The AMD drivers not working is only going to get worse if players can't update from now on, so I would say that is worth fixing / getting AMD to fix rather sooner than September.

CTDs ... I've had a few, but not sure if the reporter is working as it's been throwing an error itself recently ... probably that should be fixed :sneaky:

Historically the crash reporter has always been intermittent for me some crashes it shows up others it doesn’t, I know there is supposed to be an error from that now but I can’t confirm that as I haven’t had a CTD for a good while either due to luck or not doing the things that cause them.

I've just had another one trying to jump to SC while leaving a surface port, but the crash reporter worked just fine. FDev works in mysterious ways.

Edit: On the bright side, every time I crash my outstanding bounty seems to get smaller and smaller.

Edit 2: And I just crashed approaching a settlement. Crash reporter 10/10.

Despite all of the other bugs (including QoL stuff like this) doing the rounds, I honestly think it would be a misjudgement to leave this one for the next quarter's patch.
Meanwhile, if crashes continue to affect people, as it seems may be happening, that will presumably force some kind of patch.
