...And we've regressed back into my game is better than your game once again

Some of us don't care because we either like both, played thousands of hours of both or realised many, many years ago...both games cater to a very different demographic. It's like a constant rehashing of the Betamax versus VHS arguments...or PlayStation versus Xbox....and just as boring to read about. This persistent tribalism about two space games that are fundamentaly different at their cores is tiresome...it's OK to like both.

It is really shameful that players leave SC before it even releases. Why do you think that is?

as I said before SC it is not for everyone, and that is fine, It would be interesting to compare how many stay and how many leave,

the sc community is great, very big, very friendly and very active right now I'm not going to deny that there is a lot of morbidity around the new elite refugees, I don't understand what you want to argue here

Well yes, there is no way SC will ever replace my way of playing ED. Being explorer I tend to roam places no one has ever gone before (yesterday's play session netted me some 60 systems no one has ever visited. I hunt earth like worlds. ) On other hand I do not care about combat, especially PVP stuff.

I get more than that with the 2070 super already...but I tend to measure my CPU/GPU useage rather than fancy dancing numbers for the games that deserve a decent framerate...like AC Valhalla, God of War or GR Wildlands

I got the 3070ti really cheap on Ebay from a private seller who hasn't overclocked the life out of it or used it in a bitcoiner. A rarity these days with second hand GPU's. Two months old and he sold me it for £400 since he's just bought a 3090...more money than sense. Perhaps I should've suggested he try Star Citizen

Congratulations on getting better than what CIG's own telemetry says such GPUs get on average.

I'm not saying you're lying of course. CIG's own data states you're lying though

Well if you truly bought and want to try ED better read carefully newbie sections of forum. Game has steep learning curve and no need to needlessly frustrate yourself. What ever you learned in SC may not always or at all apply.
