Console Profile Transfers and 2022 Updates

Rip for no longer being on game pass either im deffo not buying a game with no development game pass was the only way i was playing
Same here, I already bought it once on PS and transferred to Xbox a couple years ago. Not buying it again unless it is steeply discounted and I don't consider $30 -> $24 a good enough discount for a game not getting any further updates. Maybe when it hits single digits I'll take a look at it again.

But if you transfer to PC you get a free copy of horizons, it just the Odyssey upgrade you have to pay for.

True, but then this Mac user has to buy a PC and not just some cheap one apparently. One that can actually run the game at an acceptable framerate. For now I've got two days then have to cut my losses until they either release it on the next-gen consoles (doubtful) or drop the base price to those single digits that'll entice me back. Until then, here's hoping Starfield isn't more hype than substance!

Oh and also, I don't believe Xbox users who accessed Horizons via Gamepass actually get it for free on PC. I mean, you had to have bought it once and it doesn't look like they count a Gamepass account as having actually bought the game.

I don't know whether gamepass counts or not but your PS account definitely will.

It's worth bearing in mind that this transfer process appears to have no downside, no reason not to take advantage & get that free PC account. You don't even need a PC to access it, just sit on it & carry on with your console account(s) until you do have a PC (or a beefier mac with bootcamp) capable of running Horizons/3.8 if you ever decide to get one. If not you've still lost nothing more than you would without the transfer.

I feel you. I'm a Mac user also and have no intention of buying a PC for gaming as I exclusively game on my Xbox Series X. It's not a money issue at all, I just prefer consoles in my old age. I game in a lazy boy about 5 feet in front of a 77" OLED and it would take more than a single game to drag me back to a desk. Part of me just wants to hope that ED would release on future consoles at some point. If not, I think Starfield will be more than enough to scratch the itch...

Correct. They already announced the GamePass users will need to actually purchase the game on PC and won't benefit from the free copy give away (they will get the transfers, but not the free copy of Horizons)

The fact that Elite was (just) removed from GamePass might have something to do with the incoming transfers too

Ok because, for me it feels like there are much more, could be related to thing, that when we wait of a big announcement or release of update, that the bank holidays interrupted this. But hey today they are back, in hope with some good news for the transfer

So PS4 players, who have been shut out of the Cobra IV conversation forever, that purchased Horizons can get access to the Cobra Mk IV now?
Please?
There's really no excuse, if you're shutting our game down, and we're migrating our accounts to PC, to not have access to the Cobra IV any longer.
CM - Right?
