Autumn DLC Speculation

Sadly we almost can confirm more deers to come...because piebald screams deer for me...definitely my least favourite animal, but maybye people want it...just not my type of animal

Maybye the boa or anaconda, goes for the neck and now the zoo has a complaint for an unexpected death
Makes sense, although if it were possible in-game 2 educators could hold it, which would be cool (snake scales are so smooth)
All the reptiles except the Iguanas and the Eastern Blue Tongued Skink.
I'm confused. Are you saying all reptiles won't be held or only the iguanas and skink will not? Because I've held iguanas before
If Tassie ol' devil gets teased I'll cry

I imagine the other venomous snakes like the brown snake, rattlesnake and puff adder will also not be able to be held. It would be weird to single out the death adder specifically.
Tassie, beautiful. Venomous snakes, yeah, true
All venomous snakes, all big bad spiders , scorpions and poisonous frogs should not be held due to zoo safety regulations
Totally

We are missing one real classical deer in my opinion, be it the Red Deer, Wapiti or the White Tailed Deer which I prefer in the ranking of posting. And perhaps a small one like the Pudu or the Muntjac.

I've actually been planning a small reptile-focused zoo that inherently will feature a lot of exhibit species, so these updates couldn't have come at a better time for me! Whether that's the first project I start after the new update depends on the contents of the DLC though.

What animals do y'all will NOT be held? They mentioned the adder and poison frog.

What else would be dangerous to hold? The wandering spider, I'm sure, and the desert scorpion?
I'd imagine all the venomous snakes, the gila monster, the wandering spider, giant centipede and poison-dart frogs are pretty much certainly not going to be held. I'm not sure about many of the other amphibians (their skins can be very sensitive to chemicals on human skin) or the scorpions (neither of the in-game scorpions are dangerous to humans). I think the tarantulas are mostly fine (although maybe not the goliath birdeater - their fangs are as long as cheetah claws and can cause severe mechanical damage, rather than having dangerous venom).

I would rather not get the red deer despite its popularity. North America and Asia should get some deer for the sake of diversity

Red Deer and Pudu would be my preferred choices too, but I could live well with all the others you mentioned. And I certainly agree that we need at least two more: one classical deer and one smaller one. Musk Deer and Père David's Deer are two others I'd like to mention as species that I'd love to see in-game and could work well in an animal pack.

I’m so glad we got the update announcement today
That is good filler till the big reveal
If only they could have shown us one of those features a few days ago that could have kept excitement and kept us calm for a few days.
In the meantime, I will talk on the update post and prepare my “final bets post”. Been fun glad we made it to 200

A totally new concept! A 16-animal pack.

Yes, bear with me, because this is the last time before the stream that we can still wildly speculate!

The Temperate Woodlands 16-animal pack! Consists of 8 animal duos:

Tasmanian devil & Red-necked wallaby, (two marsupials)
Red deer & Wapiti, (two classic deer)
North American black bear & Spectacled bear, (two bears)
Raccoon & Tanuki, (two raccoon-like creatures)
Red fox & Darwin's fox, (two foxes)
Wild boar & Striped skunk, (two smelly beasts)
Black swan & White stork, (two monochromatic birds)
Indian cobra & European pond turtle (two exhibit species).

This is really very wildly 😃

A lovely thought. But I heavily doubt it!
