Yeah; the fact that their eyes (and bodies too) are shining so bright even in the dark interior of an exhibit is a little concerning. I hope it’s a lighting thing and not a model thing. And if it is a lighting thing, that we get the option to turn that off and house our bats in near-darkness!Incredible, but I don't understand why they have so bright eyes!
Still great !
I think it could be the torch tool.I hope it’s a lighting thing and not a model thing.
Oh right yes of course, I didn’t think of that! I do hope it is, and that our bats aren’t forced to fly around in near-daytime light levels!I think it could be the torch tool.
I think they might try to show off the "creepy, spooky" vibes of the Twilight Pack by taking these images in the darkness – but using lighting techniques to make the animals more visible.Yeah; the fact that their eyes (and bodies too) are shining so bright even in the dark interior of an exhibit is a little concerning. We had the raccoon already:I'm guessing the next animal reveal will be the raccoon, followed by the skunk, then the fox, and then the wombat last since that's probably the most anticipated one.
Oh, missed that - then it will be the skunk, fox, and wombat last, or fox, skunk, and wombat last.We had the raccoon already:
Despite their small and cuddly appearance, common wombats are actually pretty big.I reckon they’ll probably save the fox till last, it being the ‘larger’ animal of the pack. I reckon we’ll see skunk on wednesday, wombat friday, red fox sunday! I just want to see the skunk SOON!!!
Plus they always save the most anticipated animal until last, at least most of the time.Despite their small and cuddly appearance, common wombats are actually pretty big.
Common wombat: 17-40 kg, 26 kg avg.
Red fox: 2.2-14 kg, 4.5-7 kg avg.
Wow, they must have extreme density, because length-wise wombats and foxes are pretty similarDespite their small and cuddly appearance, common wombats are actually pretty big.

Oh my gosh, I had no idea they were that huge!!! I thought they were rabbit sized. Seems they’ll be a challenge to build for then!!! I can’t wait to see them!Despite their small and cuddly appearance, common wombats are actually pretty big.

Since a good portion of that length is made up of the tail in the case of the fox + a much more slender build, you get a lighter animal.Wow, they must have extreme density, because length-wise wombats and foxes are pretty similar
(Now I understand why the cubic shapes Haha)
I know the people who got the igNobel a few years back for figuring out the intestinal mechanics that make their poo cubic. I’ll see if I can dig up the paper…Wow, they must have extreme density, because length-wise wombats and foxes are pretty similar

Think it’s taiga - the terrain brush seems to reflect that of the taiga maps!Is this a temperate or taiga map? It’s hard to tell from this distance but I’m wondering if it is temperate.

The trees are covering alot, but by the little patches of grass visible, it seems to be the grass texture from Temperate, but with Mountains backround like in Taiga. Is this a temperate or taiga map? It’s hard to tell from this distance but I’m wondering if it is temperate.

Is it? The grass in Taiga is really bright green, almost like a lime, this doesnt look like it, but could be because the trees are covering alot.Think it’s taiga - the terrain brush seems to reflect that of the taiga maps!
Well Transilvania should be in the temperate map, but knowing Frontier and their distribution of biomes who knows. Is this a temperate or taiga map? It’s hard to tell from this distance but I’m wondering if it is temperate.
