Winter DLC Speculation

Isn't it already kind of confirmed? I assume we would get at least 2 additional Years of Support. Why should they start selling Merch for a Game that they would stop working on shortly afterwards?
we right now only know that probably we will get the winter and the spring dlc probably for sure about the summer, autumn and winter. the winter dlc I'm think for sure will get and the spring It's found in the files and also frontier said "FY23".
I don't know if really the merch is confirm for fully year they just release it I don't think on every dlc would be like new merchs or something like that...

Mountains will be incredible and fit with the seasons, I would put in:

Spectacled Bear
Hamadryas Baboon
wolverine
Gold Takin
Markhor
Himalayan monal
Rock hyrax
exhibit: Nestor Kea - mountain parrot

they would be from different places :)
As much I would like to have both, the markhor and the takin. I suspect we willnnot get two goats in one pack. I would propose either the Alpine Marmot or the Pallas Cat for one of them. And I would replace somehow the Baboon with the Gelada. It fits better to this pack in my opinion and the Hamadryas Baboon could still come in other packs. But yes, your ideas are great.

I would love to get something like this for winter:

Maybe I could replace the Takin with the rock wallaby (but I prefer to get Bennett's wallaby in other pack)

This would be a dream pack come true but I agree the markhor should probably be switched for the wallaby (or tree kangaroo if you wanna stretch the mountain definition a bit) for diversities sake

If we go with the season of the year and thats winter, maybe a Mountain Animal pack or a Tundra animal pack?

As well as more birds and South American animals, this is all I want before the end of the year (well, not the takahē specifically, but I’d still love them). I know one pack isn’t going to solve the region’s underrepresentation, but I’m hoping for a nice little boost similarly to what Twilight gave to NA.

I’m looking at the Zoopedia now and Oceania is the only continent under the games filters (when you select only habitat animals) where it’s literally so small you can’t scroll down the list (although it could very well just be the screen size I’m on, either way it’s still tiny). I know it feels like me begging for more Oceanian rep is almost all I do on this forum but the state of the region’s roster right now is just sad.

Please pallas cat and marmot in the same pack......

A mountain pack would be great, even though I personally really only have 2 (and a half sort of) wishes for that. The Wolverine and the Spectacled Bear...and I'd like to see the Markhor make it in, but if it doesn't I'm not going to that sad about it. Any other animals are welcome as long as we got the first two I mentioned.

An Oceania pack is also my second biggest wish after a bird pack.

Especially now that some of the species (wombat, platypus) that would have been very likely inclusions in this pack have made it in already, it really leaves some room for both very common zoo species and some of the more unique choices. It would maybe even end up as a pack with 2+ birds and 0 carnivorans. Making it stand out from all other packs.
I imagine something like this:

The must-haves:
Tasmanian Devil
Emu
Bennett's Wallaby (or different wallaby)
Northern Brown Kiwi
Goodfellow's Tree-kangaroo

The more unspecific choices:
A 3rd Habitat Bird such as; Black Swan, Little Blue Penguin, Victoria Crowned Pigeon, Kagu, Bush Turkey, Kea in habitat maybe?, or Australian Pelican.
(Okay I will take an Oceania Bird Pack, Please)
7th Habitat spot could go different places: 4th bird (see above), Quokka (for its meme potential), another additional macropod, perentie, quoll or short-beaked echidna.

Exhibit: Either Tuatara in the normal box or lorikeets in the walk-through.

This pack just can't go wrong.

I've only just really considered them today (I've put more information on my personal wishlist), but one animal I would love to see in a mountain animal pack would be the pacarana. It would tick a lot of boxes - it would add another rodent, which lives only in mountainous forests of the Andes (from 250 to 3,200m elevation) and so would also add another South American animal. They can climb, burrow and when they get their fur wet they wash their pits like a little person.

Look at them. Such magnificent creatures.

Magnificently cute! Thank you for introducing this animal to me and whomever else may not have already known of them.

Completely forgot how extremely cute they are. Probably because my Mind immediately jumps to that one Video in which one of them was covered in Soap because of some Idiot and tried to get it off its Fur. Like them way better when they aren't struggling to get rid of a strange Substance

Great idea, never heard of these. For a SA rodent, I was leaning towards the coypu, but it'll be too similar to a beaver. Plus, this little guy has some nice striping on its back that looks like a baby tapir

I don't think all the mountain supporters realise how much of a missed opportunity ot would be not to do something bird heavy for December.

It's the most profitable time of the year, perfect for a game changing mechanics.

And the general audiences would be outraged if birds don't come after bats have been introduced.
