Winter DLC Speculation

Guys, i need to ask: If an aviary dlc is announced, how would you react and what realistic options you would choose? This would be my choices:

-Aviary Expansion Pack-
This pack would introduce 25 new exciting bird species, new aviary structures and enrichment items. It would be launched the 20th of December, and it would cost between 15$ and 20$.

-New Structures-
The new structures would be the aviaries. They would have 6 sizes (Small, small-medium, medium, medium-big, big, enormous), with various forms like spheres and cubes and different types of fence like the walkrought exhibit

-New Mechanic-
This pack would introduce the nest mechanic to the normal birds and reptiles in the normal game. The animal will select a zone that will be its nest, and it will start to build it while is pregnant. With the nest or whatever the animal does, if its pregnant will lay the eggs, that eventually will hatch little babies.

-New Enrichment Items-
This pack would introduce some items like nesting trees, feeding sticks and various toys like ropes, balls, chains and tubular toys to the new birds. They can be constructed outside the aviary too, but they will not have use excepting for some toys

-Avian Inclusions-
This pack will introduce 5 new habitat animals and 15 new species to the new aviary structures, the species would be:

-Habitat:
-Emu
-North Island Brown Kiwi
-Grey Crowned Crane
-Greater Rhea (Yes, they are so cool)
-Shoebill

-Aviary:
This animals will only be able to be in the aviaries. Some of them will be able to fly in aviaries but not in normal habitats.

-Blue and Golden Macaw
-Toco Tucan
-Great Blue Turaco
-Golden Eagle
-Harris Hawk
-Great Bengal Owl
-Barn Owl
-California Condor
-Griffon Vulture
-Scarlet Ibis
-Great White Pelican
-Mallard
-Atlantic Puffin
-Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo
-Laughing Kookaburra
-African Grey Parrot
-Anna´s Hummingbird
-Rainbow Lorikeet
-Sun Conure
-Sociable weaver

I know that is not the best list, but is a very good one. We have choices of birds from every part of the world, so for me is perfect. 25 birds should be the minimum for a good aviary dlc, but we really know frontier, so we can´t expect something like this.
Anything more than 8 animals is unrealistic.

Plus it'd be much more marketable to add birds slowly in various dlcs.

I am really sorry but this will unfortunately never happen or has a chance to happen under 1%. Even if we would get a bigger expansion for double the price I could only imagine a maximum of 16 birds (double amount). I surely would buy this pack but it really seems not realistic to me.
Some other things I want to mention:
The most realistic DLC release in my opinion will be the 13th which would allow Frontier to fix some Bugs before the Christmas holidays. And I would include the Great White Pelican as habitat animals. I have never Seen them in an aviary but always in open Habitats with a huge water area.

What's even weirder: why the Mallard? Where is it kept in Aviarys? (except probably Places where it might harm the native Ecosystem)
Not kept, mallards are always in zoos, in ponds or free. A mandarin duck or a wood duck could be a good option, but mallards are everywhere.
I forgive to explicate that some birds like the pelican and the mallard could possibly fly a little bit in the aviaries and not in the habitats.
Some birds of the possible pack could habitate the habitats, without flying, like the mallards and pelicans

Nah, knowing frontier i knew that this idea is almost impossible, just giving ideas for a possible aviary dlc. And i forgot to mention that pelicans and mallards would be able to stay in aviaries and habitat, just in habitats wouldn´t be able to fly

I would only see 2-3 of the list which I would like to see in these walkthrough exhibits.....for rest I would prefer either larger exhibits or as habitat species (especially the larger birds.....)

I don’t really think it’s ‘realistic’ to suggest that we’d get 25 new species at twice the cost that we’ve previously gotten 8.

Having decided that my next project is going to be a taiga themed zoo, loosely based on the Highland Wildlife Park, I've been doing a bit of research on them. I would really like to see a cold-themed/mountains/highlands pack. Some of the animals they have which I would like:

Wolverine
Markhor (awesome horns!)
Snow monkey
Scottish wildcat (or any small cat for colder climates)
Himalayan tahr
Mishmi takin
Yak
Red deer
Vicuna (though llama works)
Musk ox

And I wouldn't say no to a wild boar either. I do think we need more antelope/deer/hoofed stock, and smaller cats, in general.

🤔 Isn't that just another Name for the Japanese Macaque? Only other Primate I can currently think of that encounters Snow in its natural Habitat is the Golden Snub nosed Monkey
You might be right! I must admit, I didn't look too much into it, but now I look on their website, I can only see the Japanese Macaque mentioned, so I think you are right. My mistake!

Well, Planet Zoo delivered, and PDQ, on the Red Deer!!!! I'm really pleased :)

RED DEER FOR ANNIVERSARY UPDATE!!!!
So glad to see this species in the game, more European representation!

Getting a deer over a bear for the anniversary makes me think that the Andean bear and the mountain pack are a very likely option for the winter DLC.
I like the idea of a mountain based pack (ideally animal pack) for Christmas DLC more and more with every day. There are really lots of animal options and the Spectacled Bear would be a very welcome species within this pack for me.

What we really need now are warm climate creatures. I wouldn´t like something like a mountains, even if it contains animals like the spectacled bear and the wolverine. So i really hope to don´t get a cold animals pack even if its winter.

Now we really need more South American animals. We have enough animals from Europe, Asia, Arctic and Africa, but every new addition from there will be always welcome. Animals from North America and Oceania are very well represented, but we need more representations from there. But from South America we really need much animals to have a enough representation for there. For a nice representation, maybye the spectacled bear, maned wolf, ocelot, spider monkeys and tamarins, rheas, sloths, armadillos and emerald tree boas would be enough to cover a bit South America. We really need more South American Animals.

I really would take all kinds of pack. Be it grassland, islands, drylands, tropical rainforests, birds if it is a mixture of Habitat and exhibit animals. But I still have in mind for speculation that we have Winter in the Northern Hemisphere and that the pack more likely will be based on a colder than a warmer climate theme. With this in mind mountains would be a good potential candidate. You can even put some mountain animals from warmer regions to the pack.

The Aquatic pack was the biggest pack in the game's history, and it dodn't have a cold focus despite being released in december.
