Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

I had to bookmark this system it is so rich in all sort of materials, from geological spots to mining... And 5.850.722 million for my efforts.

It's always nice to see this, especially after hours of effort...

I had to reload two of my crash site jobs several times today, to get the mission goods to load, ..they sound easy but then they often bug out. One of them had to fight a crowd twice, ...and in the other third reload the cover finally fell OFF so I could grab the supercapacitor. I tried to shoot that thing off sooo much, wouldn't come off, pesky little plate

Damn it. Now I have this rotating map bug again, impossible to select a target, I literally can't go anywhere.

It took me one hour before this bug vanished, it occurs regularly, the map start rotating around the ship/carrier and I can no longer access the target menu, I'm not sure where it comes from, possibly corrupted files in my folder, so I cleaned them again, or the Server? Anyone experienced this too?

Yes, I have, it's not your computer.

When I left that gol-ram DSSA high gravity carrier I popped into highwake and switched to the gal-map, while I was plotting my course, I slammed into something, there was nothing on the HUD so I was puzzled. Eventually I switched to night vision because it was pitch black outside, I was in the middle of an asteroid field, took me forever to get out of it, I couldn't see and was mass-locked. I finally got out of there and went back to the carrier to make repairs.

Anyway, found an Ammonia planet with some calico stratum.

Some bacteria......

And Frutexa, I couldn't find the Fungi. Here's another Ammonia World.

A small Argon moon with various biologics.

Another part of the same moon.

Here I am again looking for Fungi, cruising low and slow with external view.

I haven’t experienced this bug however I do occasionally get the map rotating on me due to occasionally a stuck control or more commonly a rotary control not zeroed. Obviously this is just the ship maps in my case.

The usual advice if you are sure it is a bug is go to the issue tracker when you have plenty of time to search for whatever all the other people who have experienced it called it and confirm/vote for the report that is the most supported. If there isn’t a report start one using the clearest terms to identify it to other sufferers.

The only problem I have with my controller is a slight induced roll, with multiple calibrations it tends to vianish, at the moment it is hardly noticeable, nothing in the Yaw axis. I can check but I'm pretty sure it doesn't come from my controllers.
It could be a binding issue but when I use the map, most of the time at the moment, I'm onboard the Carrier, stationary and I don't use the controllers.

Some will assume if they arrive in a system that shows as discovered that there is nothing left worth taking the time to discover.
That's why I always pop the 1 panel after the scan.

I can't count the number of times I've seen "27 objects found" and popped the 1 panel and seen only 5 or 6 objects listed. It's like someone came blasting through, saw those and just kept on getting it leaving most of the system undiscovered.

That normally is from a worn out or slightly defective pot. There should be a "dead zone" setting somewhere in your calibration software. If you don't have it there, I'm pretty sure there's a dead zone setting in the game software itself.

If you increase that dead zone, it makes you move the controller a bit more to actually have an effect. It will stop that movement completely.

They seem to come with fairly constant arguments over in Dangerous Discussions as to whether enough time has passed yet for exclusive to have changed its definition to available to everyone.
Maybe they could introduce it as a CG reward...
