but they aren't crap? a low roll on these modifications is still good, it just isn't the BEST.
and if you are talking about weapons mods then I don't care about them until the ability to buy them with rep comes out.

This changelog item was erroneously added to beta 5, but it was never actually added to the game. I'm worried it was still not actually added. Can anyone confirm if this change made it into the patch?

perhaps systems in the financial sector (banks and clearing, stockmarkets) are slightly more important than a game update, therefore probably are shorter, but cost more and have more people implementing them. and when they go wrong (i can think of several cases here where an update to systems stopped people accessing their bank accounts for weeks and causing ATM to malfunction) they are much more catastrophic, usually due to the time pressures to get updating done so quick.
i dont see anyone losing access to money from this. and i prefer a long update time to a rushed one, and them having to roll back and redo it again.

I just pity the people actually working on the update - they won't be able to go home before everything is back up and running again. I just hope Mr. Braben is keeping them supplied with pizza and coffee (as would our PLs when we would be doing a similar job[1]).

I am CMDR Sheppard, and this is my favorite update response on the citadel.
I wish my employer would supply some pizza and coffee for me while i work my azz off from 6am to 4pm. But noo.. they want to like pay some money for me, how stupid is that??

Are you sure it hasn't updated already? I updated my Xbox version earlier and am now seeing the "Maintenance" message once you get through the intro screens (as expected). There is a way to check the version number but I can never remember what it is, someone in the Xbox forum section will know.
