Yes, just type "Raxxla" straight into the galaxy map. Should come up now. Bug fixed. But does this update include the location of Raxxla?
Bahahahahahaha. <3Yes, just type "Raxxla" straight into the galaxy map. Should come up now. Bug fixed.
That's a known issue. I think it's on the issue tracker, but I couldn't find it, as the search function can only accept so many characters (the whole tracker need some urgent rework tbh).I just tried to get stored suit upgrade material from my carrier, but I was not able to. Neither in the ship storage tap nor in the backpack transfer menu on the flight deck. The strange thing, this didn't apply to all items in the carriers storage. I am also not sure if some material just disappeared from the transactions menu. I heard the clicking of the counter but the number didn't change. After accepting the changes, the numbers seemed to be off.
I also noticed that I can't get prohibited materials, goods I think, from the carrier into my inventory.
Did anybody else notice this behaviour?
How? This is what I don't understand. I have never noticed any problem with either the docking computer or manual docking/undocking.It affects both landing and taking off (especially for pads near the station entrance). For both manual and (A)DC.
It was a subtle effect. Heres a clear example. How? This is what I don't understand. I have never noticed any problem with either the docking computer or manual docking/undocking.
maybe i missed changes in how identifying cores work now.Fix for pulse wave analyser not highlighting high resource asteroids in rings correctly (Ticket Reference: ID 50436)
Yeah, why have anything be challenging or require any work or resources? Everything should just given to the player without any effort. This is an arcade game after all!only way to find out if one of the many shiny ones has core or not is to fly close to look for fissures or waste tons of prospectors.
so what i read between your sarcasm is that it is intentional?Yeah, why have anything be challenging or require any work or resources? Everything should just given to the player without any effort. This is an arcade game after all!
Historically, core rocks were slightly brighter and had a memorable shape. Other than that, the only way to tell them apart was the visual fissures.so what i read between your sarcasm is that it is intentional?
i do not remember anything about this being an intentional decision when ody launched. i assumed just one of a few challenges of launch.
i hope, if intentional, for some official confirmation. a link to where it was announced or something.
no, the pulse wave scanner also showed a "core picture" if you held the trigger for several intervals. black shadows in shine. first half of the interval surface shine, second half the core shadow within it. only changed in ody and people were loging into horizon just to have this function.Historically, core rocks were slightly brighter and had a memorable shape. I mined a lot back in the day; you WOULD occasionally get the glows doubling up to be extra bright or black or odd colors like green, but it was nowhere near consistent or on all cores, and I'm pretty confident it was just a bug. For reference, I mined something like 5000 tons of core minerals.no, the pulse wave scanner also showed a "core picture" if you held the trigger for several intervals. black shadows in shine. first half of the interval surface shine, second half the core shadow within it. only changed in ody and people were loging into horizon just to have this function.
i know it was not working at all after launch...I mined a lot back in the day; you WOULD occasionally get the glows doubling up to be extra bright or black or odd colors like green, but it was nowhere near consistent or on all cores, and I'm pretty confident it was just a bug. The reason people stopped mining in Odyssey is because the PWA wasn't working at all, not showing anything once you traveled 20km in any direction, which is what this fixed.

edit: just watched some old core mining vids. seems was other way around after first interval. first half shadows, second half only shine.
The ‘black’ lines building up in the very bright core asteroids was still happening for me in Odyssey only a few weeks ago. I have always had the PWS running continuously as this seemed to produce the best results.I mined a lot back in the day; you WOULD occasionally get the glows doubling up to be extra bright or black or odd colors like green, but it was nowhere near consistent or on all cores, and I'm pretty confident it was just a bug. Just ignore it. "Oh, you want everything instantly and for free" is one of the oldest and most lazy straw men. Some people jump at everything that could even remotely be interpreted as criticism of Frontier or the game.so what i read between your sarcasm is that it is intentional?
