ANNOUNCEMENT 2.2 Your Input Needed - Passenger Tourist Destinations

Don't know if some of them got proposed already, but here are my suggestions.

Dryio Flyuae ZI-T B6-13 1&2
Two water worlds orbiting each other near Jaques' station.

Sol - Ariel
One of my favorite planet in this game. Although that was taken before Engineers and I didn't check it since then.

Bubble Nebula
Do you really need details? It's absolutely beautiful!

Messier 78
Close to Bernard's Loop, pretty small, but still cool!

VY Canis Majoris
Why? It's so huge I could still scan it from 0.24ly away. I gave up going farther after this point.

Also... Beagle point...? Anyone crazy/brave enough?

An ammonia world, not far from the Bubble (623.81 LY from Sol). Witch's Head nebula and Barnard's Loop in the background. Who knows what strange life forms might live down on these mysterious worlds?

Probably should have replied way sooner, but oh well, better late than never :D

Sorry, screenshots are far from the best I could have taken, but oh well, that doesn't take away from the awesomeness of the actual location.

So, location:
Hypuae Audst JS-T d3-348. Planets ABC 1 and ABC 2.

Screenshots:

Description:
That is quite a rare sight - a natural binary Earth-Like world orbiting a trinary star system! And all that high above the galactic core! All in all, that is quite a spectacular sight so behold, and maybe even take a vacation there.

Beta-1 Tucanae 2

b5e127cfc67830a64da4627434f5ea9f.png

Beta-1 Tucanae 2 is a beautiful Class Y dwarf.
Since it is a gas giant, it gives of a magnifisant purple shine from a far.
This location is for the real action seeker. Reason being the many hazardous extraction sites in the huges rings around the gas giant.
The rings itself can be mesmerizing from to time to time.
From afar we can see the nice white/blue shine from the middle of the system; Beta-1 Tucanae itself. This class B blue-white star deserves a tourist destination of itself. The star is situated about 3500 light second away from Beta-1 Tucanae 2.
Beta-1 Tucanae 2 has 3 moons which are all rocky with little to no surface metal.
But don't let that fool you that this system doesn't have a economy. We even dare to say it is a booming economy. There are 8 outpost on the many different moons the system has to offer, but our recommendation is to travel about 50 more light seconds to the high-metal planet Beta-1 Tucanae 3. Reason being a big station orbating the bare planet. The station, named Adams Orbital, is a haven for every "shopaholic". The station is very high tech, and if you can name it, they can sell it!
Overall this system is all you need, but if we have to recommand a location; well than Beta-1 Tucanae 2 is the place to be!

Ok,

First let me state because people will bring it up: I know I can choose not to do this activity. Much like mining - I did the bare minimum and I don't really plan on returning. That said, I don't begrudge miners their niche activity and am actually happy for them when improvements find their way down the pipeline... that out of the way.
What does this offer in new gameplay that current mechanics don't already? I know not everything is being shown in the video - but what is shown is pretty damn sad.
"Go to a conflict zone and don't participate in the conflict"
Wow, revolutionary game design there, implementing a whole new profession of doing arguably the more boring aspects of the game while specifically avoiding arguable one of the more interesting aspects.

I don't begrudge the tourism thing/profession - but from what I've seen of it thus far it seems like a re-shuffling of "collect the black box" missions. Instead of going to get a black box from a specific location you bring a flesh box to a specific location.
Throw some time tags in there and... ? voila? "Tourism".
As an excuse to give the Orca a role and to bring in a new ship the Beluga - sure. But please devs, don't look at this as some sort of revolutionary step in mission design. >_>

I'm hoping there is more to it than that - but if there isn't this is really a sad joke.
Great for RP'ers and pacifists though!

Edit

And in keeping with the purpose of the thread-

Calhuacan should be a tourist destination for the awesome absurdity that is the earth-like named "Stapled Peacock Flesh" - Also my fleet's current home.

In a nebula you will find this earth like, having a real nice view over a bed of stars on opposite sides, as well as the coloured dust from the nebula itself.

A moon almost identical in size to it's parent body, Both are explorable with an SRV and
it's pretty neat driving around and seeing this giant moon looming above you. Also there's a Spaceport Nearby (Dalton Port).

NGC 5662 SECTOR RD-T D3-8

Location name: NGC 5662 SECTOR RD-T D3-8 2 A

NGC 5662 SECTOR RD-T D3-8 2 and NGC 5662 SECTOR RD-T D3-8 2 A are special - NGC 5662 SECTOR RD-T D3-8 2 is a rare Class IV Gas Giant, tilted by a margin of -89.91 degrees, meaning it orbits its Class A Star on its side, so the rocky disc's edge is always facing the sun at a steep angle. 2 A, this Gas Giant's moon, is a Metal-rich planet, and it is only a record-small 0.0018 masses, with surface tempreatures reaching 1,100 kelvin - it has rich colours, varying from orange, brown, grey and green, possibly due to its Iron Magma volcanism as the tiny moon is squeezed by both its parent Gas Giant and its nearby Class A star. It is extremely mountainous for a little moon, with plenty of deep canyons and jagged, deadly terrain.

Sincerely yours,

Commander Dreamstate.

Pyraleau BP-I d9-6

CMDR Blue Eyes

Amazing contrast of size with an S class star next to an M class star. Also in system are two terraform-able planets, one a water world.

Suggested backstory:
Add probes at the Lagrange points for the m-class star as well as a both polar and equatorial orbital probes (maybe 4 in each orbit) around the binary stars and an abandon, ancient scientific orbital outpost. This could be a Canonn Research Group branded project (if they're willing to lend their name to something like this, I'm not part of or familiar with the lore of this player group, just know the name.)

The tourist info would read thus:

The year XXXX saw the establishment of this remote scientific outpost with an X year mission dedicated to unraveling the final details of the rare class of extrinsic S-class stars. The ingenious use of the close, rapid orbiting M-class star's gravitational disruption of the enormous S-class star to provide the massive amount of energy needed to plumb the depths of giant star was pioneered by [insert researcher/group] using the binary pair in Pyraleau BP-I d9-6. This daring project was a tremendous success and the first use of such a pairing. The techniques developed here would later lead to a similar method for the study of super dense stellar objects and has become a key tool in modern physics research.

This is a beautiful Earthlike world with a ring system, discovered in August 3301. It is only a few hundred LY outside the bubble.
