Still something to consider though; don't need Steam, in-game achievements would be awesome.
I refer you to games like World of Warcraft that have large achievement lists; it gives players something extra to do ..
Plus, I think a lot of us get little warm fuzzies in the tummy when we get this:

What you do is, do the job, get the money and go on a mad spending spree, before FD (or the tax man) gets a chance to take it of you
It's a bug. Posted just in case the developers read the forums. I'm gagging to drone on about string variables, but I'd just show my age.
Who could forget those classic tunes? Such as: "Deee Daaaa Dererererererererer..."
Or turn (pump) up the volume on the cassette player and listen to the squeels of static and such! Please don't ask me to explain what a cassette player is folks!
how could you lot have so many problems downloading the 2.4 update?
the launcher took 10 minutes to down load, for some reason I had to wait until midday before I could run it (it kept say it could access, the drive, the file or I didn't have the privileges), having install the launcher , wait for the conformation E-mail, enter the code, wait 15 minutes to up-date the game, then another ½ hour wait whilst the server finished up dates

tell me about it, Kids these days dont knew their born, they can't understand how a game can come on somthing other then a CD or a DVD, or waiting for a game to load, or shock horror program the game (and the joy that came from getting it to work first time), or that your first computer was a ZX-81 (with a membrain keyboard and 1K of memory)
I'm getting them from EDSM. Another example of third-party dev's, doing what Frontier should have.
