I would like to see Agoutis over the likes of leopard, AB Bear and Asian Lion, but not even close to Markhor, Ratel, Maned Wolf and Gaur for example.

Speaking of Lynxes and Leopards, in my case there would have to be either Eurasian Lynx or Amur Leopard. Any combo with them works, as I've seen Iberian-Amur is the most popular one. And the other way around would work. I wouldn't like however African-Iberian combo as they both inhabit warmer areas

More people vote for Striped Hyena than Aardwolf and Brown Hyena?

I would have guessed the other way around, as Browns are rarest and very bizarre looking.

I don’t think we can count on all three of them but I want to belive we would see some desert or Indian pack one day with at least the Stripped hyena.

I legitimately cannot choose my favourite species of hyaenid, they're all too good. However, for my essential list I chose the Striped Hyena (as well as the Aardwolf) over the Brown Hyena simply because the latter is much rarer in zoos to my knowledge. I don't think it's realistic to expect them all to make it into the game, but that would be a dream.
