Hey, i'm enjoying each one of my zoo playing like conservation parks, recreate some of the worlds national parks, so still enjoying DLCs with some region as it going now, don't really care about famous animals missing (white rhino...), especially African ones, here is my wishlist :
1. Caracal
2. Serval
3. Ocelot
4. Fossa
5. Tree kangarou
6. Pallas cat
7. Fishing cat
8. Florida leopard
9. Arctic fox
10. Fennec fox
11. Wolverine
12. Coati
13. Capybara
14. Mara
15. Wombat
16. Beaver
17. Platypus
18. Gelada
19. Rhinopithecus (blue nose)
20. Gibbon
21. California see lion
22. Manatee
23. Takin
24. Musk ox
25. Rocky moutain goat
26. Gerenuk
27. Saiga antelope
28. Some deers
29. Kirks Dik Dik
30. Big birds (other flamingos, secretary, crowned crane...)

Personally I don't see why Sumatran rhinos being included should have any more of a handicap over other species. Chinese pangolins are much rarer and AFAIK they haven't been successfully kept in captivity, but in the game you can have them and breed them as much as you want.
If I translated the species correctly (sometimes translating different subspecies is not very reliable) Zoo Leipzig are keeping Chinese Pangolins succeesfuly. Not too sure if they bred succeesfully though, I know from the documentary that the zoo had high hopes.

I get both arguments pro and con very rare species. But to be honest, I feel like the conservation message gets lost on most players. I'd consider myself very interested in animals, but still don't read the zoopedia. So I also get why it would be problematic to mass breed highly indangered rhino species. Then again, the whole game has a message of "mass breed any species and relase it to the wild and all will be fine" and well... it's not how it works unfortunately, as some of us know.

None of the zoo’s we create are realistic anyway, every zoo has fish and birdcages, as long as they are absent, there is no need for realism at all.

I want my Leopard Seal, it’s like me, the evil seal.

You are weirdly obsessed how "evil" and "not gentle" as the rest of us you are. Jeez.

As for the realism, no birds or fish are currently because the mechanism are not implemented atm, not because Frontier went all "damn the realism" route.

Lets be honest leopard seals are boring penguin/fish eaters, meanwhile true giga chad apex predators like asiatic lions and nile crocodiles need spotlight in the game.
It is also worth paying attention for majestic african leopard, the terror of the africa plains. Versatile and great predator.

Nice try, but not working. But you probably gonna get a lot of likes for that from “them” the army that I triggered.

Almost 1/4 of your animals are mainly flying birds...That's fine, I guess. But what species is the Moroccan gazelle? Dorcas or Cuvier's?
You also included grey wolf??
And Arabian Ostrich? It's a subspecies of the common ostrich and it's extinct. Please, read the OP and I await your answer.

I would either suggest lumping all leopards into one and ranking them that way in parentheses, or making an individual entry for each subspecies, because:
1) There is really no such thing as an Asian leopard
2) Categorizing the Arabian leopard and Amur leopard in the same category doesn't make much sense due to big differences in habitat
3) Even if one of the "Asian" leopards only receives one vote, it will still rank above anything else, just because it is in a category that includes multiple animals
4) Not fair to the African leopard, as this is a 1v5 scenario. That's like choosing one bear and pitching it against all others and saying they ranked the lowest, when they could potentially rank first individually.

I was planning to include both the African and Amur leopards on my list, thanks to their unique environments, but due to the current categorization, I had to take the Amur leopard out. If you are willing to make changes to the way they are listed as I described above, I will be willing to add it back.

1. Abyssinian Ground Hornbill
2. African Leopard
3. American Alligator
4. American Black Bear
5. Arctic Fox
6. Bighorn Sheep
7. Black Rhino
8. California Sea Lion
9. Capybara
10. Common Wombat
11. Dromedary
12. Emu
13. Eurasian Lynx
14. Gelada
15. Grey Crowned Crane
16. Lar Gibbon
17. Maned Wolf
18. Meerkat
19. Moose
20. Mountain Lion
21. Musk Ox
22. North American Beaver
23. Pallas's Cat
24. Sloth Bear
25. Spectacled Bear
26. Sumatran Rhino
27. Tasmanian Devil
28. Walrus
29. White Rhino
30. Wolverine

Edit: Took the Alligator Snapper and Ball Python out after seeing exhibit animals don't count. I will be back with two more :)

Added Gelada and Common Wombat

@Ursidae Thanks for your list.
As I've said a couple of times, I know that the current situation with the leopards is somewhat inconsistent. The whole African-Asian differentiation started because some people specifically wanted either the African or the Amur (if that vote would have gone to a generic leopard slot, some of these people would have probably been unhappy). That's why I decided against the generic leopard slot.
On the other hand, differentiating in subspecies would have meant a couple of things:
1) It would have been the only animal not in-game that is differentiated in subspecies in the meta-list.
2) It would have lead to a deceiving perception that maybe the leopard is not as highly-demanded. Imagine Amur getting 40 votes, Sri Lankan getting 10 votes, Indian getting 6 votes, Persian getting 4 votes, etc.). They would all be way more down in the list.

That's why I went for the middle ground, which is controversial, I won't deny that, but effective, in my opinion.

Btw, with the current system, you can still include your two leopards: the Amur and the African.

I didn't add an Asian leopard because it inflates the cumulative figure, which isn't fair to the African one I believe. Can you at least specify in parentheses which Asian leopard got how many votes? That would put things into perspective.

Okay, I can add that if that pleases you (I saved that info, fortunately). After the last submissions the situation is:
-Amur: 48
-Sri Lankan: 6
-Indian: 5
-Persian: 3
-Arabian: 1
-Not recorded (sorry): 2

Oh wow. That's an impresive pole position for the Amur Leopard. I'd also prefer them.

Thank you, random goat for all the time and energy you put into this list! I believe you are really bringing the community forward with this project and Frontier would miss out a lot if they wouldn't keep a close look at this thread.
