$80? Wow....

You all are missing my point here, any other Early Access (which the Early Bird really is) game usually coasts about $30.00, yet this one costs almost 3 times as much, why? Are they just money hungry? It is like paying $750 to have your name on a graphic of a stone in the game, I'm sure it costs that much to place a few lines of code into the game. Granted, I'm not a programmer, but it can't possibly cost that much unless the programmers are getting paid a few hundred dollars an hour for their work. This I doubt. And then what really gets me is Frontier won't even offer a refund, even Steam has a refund policy where all the games are digital downloads. Will we eventually get a hard (disk) copy for that $80.00? I doubt it.

Of course there are people that will pay anything just for the bragging rights and I think that is exactly what they are counting on.

I believe the main purpose of the name in stone and those other things are for a donation. Some people would like to donate to Frontier and that's how they would do it. It is really expensive for a early release, although the normal game is only $30.

As much as you would like to believe people are unwilling to donate a good sum of money for simple perks because they believe in idea doesn't make that true, in fact it is proven otherwise. They did the same thing with their other title in raising funds to complete the game and doing the same here. What you believe something is worth is your choice, but as any consumer can do , you can choose not to participate/purchase an idea/option.

Add to the list of those that want it cheap and are convinced complaining will change the price but it won't change it. Want it cheap get the released version for 30.00. No doubt when it goes retail that price will be higher just as Elite did.

I do have sympathy for those that can't afford more expensive pre-game releases, but I won't hold it against a company that does it, that's their choice and I as a consumer have a choice to purchase or not. As I said in a previous posting, Star Wars Battlefront was horrible pricing in my eyes and I never purchased no ever visited or complained about it on any forum. It just something I am not willing to pay for at that price for what they where delivering then and in future DLC. Even if it goes 20 bucks I won't touch it. My choice and that is my say to them on the matter. Nuff said if you ask me.

Technically the early access is only $45 since it comes with a copy of the game at release which is $30. We're gonna be getting 7-9 months extra game time. A lot of people see that it's worth paying the price, and the good thing is that no one's forcing anyone to buy it. If you don't want to pay, you can always wait until Q4 when it officially releases.

Believe me, we all (any french gamers) know how to pass from AZERTY to QWERTY (and vice versa), but still ... It's really annoying when you have to make a manipulation to play a game correctly, just because the developers have forgotten this detail. [yesnod]

I had the shock of my life when I was at the UK offices this past year (I'm in the USA by the way). The UK based keyboard threw me for a loop. Keys in places that do not belong! [where is it]

I know your pain on this, and will see what our plans are for it. [yesnod]

Thanks !

(or should I say : Thqnks ! )

EDIT : If the AZERTY/QWERTY is not native, the reallocation of the keys will do the trick. We used to do like that.

I hate keyboard on it's own. Every Keyboard types different. Some sounds so cool but the feeling of typing is so bad. I love my laptop keyboard and I don't want something else. [squeeeeee]

...but not many people seem to understand that- hence the negative reviews.

It's bound to happen with this game as well. I'm sure of it.

And a lot of people make their decisions from reviews, rctw could be really good after the beta, but most gamers will pass due to early reviews.

If you hold your breath you'll likely faint. The underlying mechanics for RCTW that we were exposed to are unlikely to face major (and needed) changes by Beta2 or release. I'm hoping it'll at least be fun but I'm not counting the chickens.

I heard planet coaster is getting a live stream.

Will there even be a Beta 2?
