I'm not sure what Frontier have done or said historically that suggests these rewards will ever come back. That's a pretty big assumption to be resting your case on. Not to mention it doesn't take into account outliers (not even outliers, frankly) who will not be available for any of these imagined repeat rewards, through no fault of their own.

The Cobra IV was clearly presented as a time limited bonus sidegrade ship based on an IRL financial transaction. Fdev communicated their intentions in this case very clearly. (Also it's difficult to class the ship as a performance boost.)

Several of the attempts at bargaining in here rest on the bizarrely confident assumption that Frontier will now go on to act in way they have never acted before, despite giving no indication that this will be the case.

It's like if someone steals your car and you go 'lol I ain't complaining, I'm sure they'll bring it back later! At least I got the thrill of being held at gunpoint!' I really admire your optimism.

It also doesn't solve the issue, even if repeats are forthcoming.
