The server reset late on Thursday turned it from a very profitable system into a negative one!
Yeah, it looks like Torval was given a system to expand to next to there when they updated things, which removes some of the systems from its "bubble".
I think its value want to less than 10 CC.
What Torval is doing over the is something that needs to be looked at too.

Teliadjali is closest to Kamadhenu, really. You can pick up packets there, too.
We make sure the word is out to let expansion fail in Guathiti. Then, the week after, more serial prep grinders can put it back at the #1 spot. That would effectively permanently prevent anyone else from prepping it. If we keep this up, it will be an ever-present easy merit grind for anyone who really likes docking and launching!
Rurema (sp?) is a large pad station 184Ls from jump point, even though it's around the third star, and it had Medium supply of Palladium. I believe it is closer to Teliadjali than Narakapani.
The only way to 'push a power out' is to force them into total Turmoil. The systems with the highest upkeep go into Turmoil first, and if the cycle still ends with negative CC, the system in turmoil will become uncontrolled (I think). If that happened to Torval, it would severely hurt their showing in Kappa Fornacis, which is a rather nice distraction from our showing in Pencienses. If the systems you want them out of are not high upkeep, then they would be the last to go. So, there really isn't a direct way to force someone out. Also, while we might be afeared of Aisling's expansion into Bellaung, Patreus's expansion into Wangal, and Torval's expansion into (gods know, personally, I'd say Capatsuria), there is no call for panic. They are our allies, and any system they control with a Black Market is one more imperial black market that we don't inadvertently shut down.
Also, if you want to stop someone expanding into a system, don't call for an opposing or conflicting preparation target in an effort to damage their will, flat out oppose their expansion. If you are not able to drum up support from the six other Powers who are not Imperial, nor from within the Empire, then you can try all you might, but you aren't likely to be successful.
Still, it's no reason not to try, unless you simply don't want to get a bounty in the Empire. That would be a reason. If so, peace and compromise is the best solution.
I don't disagree, but there are also advantages to other Imperials being next to our territory.
We can take advantage of their Powers system changes, while not being hostile in their territory.
Aisling Duval changed her control systems to pay 9000+ cr per ton for consumer tech and pro gen cells. I think a patch nerfed that a bit, but we can take advantage of better trading on her land.
Torval makes slaved 10% cheaper and minerals cheaper. This can be good for our members who want to trade, ALD doesn't have any trading advantages in our systems.
The only problem that I see is if there is war between the Imperial factions, which would mean we would be hostile in their land, and couldn't move around as freely.

Well, I have to admit there are slight RP reasons for going for that region, but that aside, it does seem a bit limited the only way to change the landscape is to force the faction into total turmoil.
With PP payouts, if they made supplying more profitable systems give a higher payout than low or negative CC profit ones, it would encourage people to supply the right stations, but maybe that would make it too easy all around and undermine organised efforts?

UPDATE. TE UIRA is now crawling with fed commanders, they are hitting this system very hard. If we are to hold it I recommend a heavy Imperail response.
It's not ours to hold onto. It's a Hudson (Federation) expansion system. We are undermining there.

HIP 21778 should be back above Yab Camalo now with ~12k delivered. There are some really excellent CMDRs over at Calhuacan right now moving Corruption Reports from there to HIP, they could really do with some help to keep HIP 21778 strong.
