A Musical Request from the Audio Team...

As far as I know you can only import music. If Frontier could clear this up it would be fantastic.

I think the restriction is down to what various file types you can import, not what's included in the file type.. For instance, I know you can import MP4 files into the game. But there's nothing from stopping you (except for the audio program and a microphone) from creating a MP4 with just your voice that you can use as a custom announcement. :)

I think we don't need just new sounds - If there will be more sounds, I think we will need a new way to set the sounds.
Because I don't know how you think about it, but I don't want to scroll down for years through thousands of samples. [uhh]

A file organizing system would be great. I've suggested this for save files too, like in the original RCT you could create your own folders and place your saves how ever you wanted, but in RCT3 and PC the saves are grouped per scenario and all the sandbox saves are thrown together.

For audio folders for music/effects/etc would help a lot

Bit of a long shot but if the audio guys are happy to create new music, then maybe some brief dramatic music (around 20-30 secs) for dark rides and coasters with pre-show sequences (which supposedly use triggered effects etc.)? Maybe one for a few different themes such as the Wild West. I think this could help add more drama to your rides. :)

I like the suggestions.

How about a Wilhelm scream?

"Yarrr, me harties!" ?

Was going to suggest a Wilhelm scream :)

Discordant organ playing for spooky areas
wind
distant lonesome bell (spooky)

lazer pews
'Warning' 'Danger' and 'Evacuate the area' type announcement messages

I need better screams on the roller coasters. The peeps just er and say woo! a lot. I need screams of joyous terror.

But, since that's kinda off topic... I'd love some spoken PlanCo dialogue. Easy stuff is ride instructions or information booth things with a soft female voice saying "Welcome to Theme Park! Please keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times." and stuff like that. Since spooky stuff has been mentioned, I'd love to hear a Vincent Price type guy reading poetry for a dark ride or a lift hill.

Another type of ambience that would be good: more nature and animal sounds. Especially bugs. This might be one people will turn off at times but I'd enjoy cicada sounds. Singing birds would also be good.

Low rubble with a slow beat - to get people nervous/fearful when queuing or getting on a coaster.
White Noise
Crow bird sounds (for spooky areas)
Sound of waterfalls

Maybe already mentioned. What i would need would be:

- Countdown
- Rocket starting sound
- wizard lab
- old clock with ticking and westminster sound

Ocean/water sounds, Jungle noise/music

This, yes!
Perhaps add some crickets, cicadas, wolves, owls and other ambient (western?) wildlife at day/night.
I would love some jungle birds in the distance.
Would be awesome for some diversity within a darkride. [yesnod]
