The problem I have with this drabble.. is who is really the star??

you just cant credit ***** without giving ***** credit for giving ***** inspiration.

personally I think ##### should be mentioned in regards to *****.

Sorry TJ ... Well played... I think we may need to reduce the word count, frankly noone can be arsed to count to 100 to check.. :D

i'm just wondering on this 100 words. Are they individual words :p

so you could write.....

"What in the hell is that? Hell on Diso!!!, its enormous, in fact enormous isn't the word."

which would only count 15 individual words, rather than 17 ;)

That's 17 words. Hence Alien's lovely pew pew pew story still counting up to 100.

If you're only counting individual words then you could have an unlimited but potentially dull story.

Sorry to take the pee a bit but its funny inna way....

"one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, one hundred words, YEAH"

That's not writing the peewee, that's just writing a poor drabble.

I have the time
To make a rhyme
I like to rhyme
When I have time
And so I rhyme
In my free time
Oh what a time
To make a rhyme!

That's a perfectly valid rhyming metred poem, but it's not necessarily good.

Laser fire

And on a more serious note......... here's mine for the Agent now known as a funny shape.

The pulse laser went “pew pew” out in the void. No one heard it but the unknown agent had loved that sound since being a child. It’s the only reason he had a pulse laser rather than a beam laser. He coped with it. The kills took longer but he was good enough. “pew pew” went the sound again.
Then from nowhere “BZZZZZZZZZZZZ” ‘What the hell are you shooting at me for?’ came a voice from the comms, as a ship came into view.
‘Woahh sorry mate. Let me pay for repairs, I was just messin’ with ma pew pew.’

Space station Challenge: Safety

The damaged ship coasted along on its preset course. Blast marks, like scars left by raking claws, scraped through the paint on the hull. A plume of venting gas left a stream of ice particles behind the ships path, glinting as sunlight reflected from rotating ice crystals. Inside the ship the damaged compartment was being sealed in an effort to keep life support viable. The plume stuttered then died.

Ahead, a dot resolved itself from the speckled background, slowly growing as it turned serenely in the sky. A sense of peace extending from the station meant just one thing. Safety.

Drabbled Reply

Commander Alien looked at Agent formerly known as squiggle, and decided that he was a funny guy, not funny haha, like a clown, here to amuse you, but funny. It's the way he tells them, he's a funny guy. I don't know what was so funny about his story, it was just funny.

Anyway, movie plagiarism over, Alien let Agent Squiggle's not a drabble go because, as I said, he's a funny guy. She headed over the Agent and asked him about movie night tonight. And this, my very good friends is a very matter of fact, drabble. The End.

Bounty

Waiting is an old man's game. The youngun's don't have the talent for it. Or the patience.
Remaining calm for long periods. The soft sigh of the ventilation the only sound. The faint glow of the Nudar the only light. It could drive some people mad.
Clamped to an asteroid, the ship’s heat dissipates without giving away my position.
I wait.

Contact!

Tracking… active!

Was the informant right? Could this be the pirate we were looking for?

Targets acquired, running hot! Three ships. Four. Five!

Glad I’d thought to include the others in this bounty.

Time to spring this trap!

Station Challenge: Lost in-ter-stella Space

Sitting alone in the dark, uncharted space all around, ‘What is this system? Can’t believe a new ship mis-jumped. What in a blue nebula do I do now?’

The pilot heads towards the goldilocks zone to see if there’s a liveable planet, preferably with intelligent life, so he can finish out his days. ‘Yes there’s one that looks viable, with several moons.’

As he approaches he see’s many smaller bodies flying around in no particular fashion. ‘Great I have to fly through an asteroid field to get there, hope the shielding lasts. Hey wait, those aren't Moons, they’re orbital stations!’
